Just reducing the amount of clothing for each person to 1 week was a game changer for us. It means we actually wear all of the clothing we own, AND that we own clothes we like and fit us NOW. I've even gone so far as to reduce church clothes to 1-2 outfits. They know exactly what to wear and I don't have to spend time helping them get dressed so we can get out the door on time.

I have 7 kids 10yrs old and younger amd the best thing I've done so far has to do with their socks. I dont buy the multicolored packs of socks. I get socks in a pack from among but only the packs where all the socks in the pack are same color and style. So my 1yr old was getting only white socks. 2 amd 3 ur olds were getting gray. 5 amd 6 yr olds only black. And the two that can wear the same size socks share socks so less colors and easier to find matches on laundry days.

Thanks for sharing! This is a great trick. We don’t have a closet in our boys’ room right now but I am definitely keeping this in mind for the future. How do we always end up with so many kids clothes?? They just multiply or something. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Gracious, our kids clothes multiply as well!! If you don’t have a closet, the rolling technique was a HUGE help when all we had were tiny RV drawers and shelves to put clothes on ☺️ What have you found to be helpful if someone doesn’t have a closet in their children’s room? I’d love to hear any tips you might have!
