For the entrance nook: left wall gets the bench, middle wall gets a large standing mirror for outfit checks before you go, right wall gets the shoe storage cabinet. Move the rug in the nook instead of the entrance and Floor lamp and olive tree in the corners as “fillers”.

Idea for your entrance area: a half nook/ library vibe. Put a floor to ceiling book shelf that can store books, shoes, etc.(odds and ends can go in boxes on shelves) on the right wall. Back wall area for small bench seating with mirror behind it. Leaving the last wall for some art.

For the awkward nook, You could put a big sideboard/ console table and hang a large round black mirror. It will give entryway vibes. A place to put keys and such and also a whole bunch of storage space

Entrance vibes 🤗 I would put a wallpaper on the wall where the bench is. May be with a green accent on it, to go with the bar stools. I would place the dresser (the one on the right) where the bench is now and have a sort of "getting ready nook". On top of the dresser, the mirror you already have. I would move the bench to one of the walls (the left wall would be great) and may be some hangers on the other wall to put your coats or purses. Like those simple and minimal ones you attach to the wall. Also a rounded rug in the middle and you have a little dressing up area to go out. I love your home and the whole vibe of it 💖

A lot of people in downtown Toronto condos I have seen them make that space either into a walk-in closet/dressing room/glam room or an office space. Since you seem to have a small closet in your bedroom why not make a big one in the den area? You can get closet cupboards from Ikea & put then on each wall. With it you can put your shoes, jackets, dyson & etc in it. You can also use one closet with shelves inside as your pantry. Sell the bench & shoe stand. Maybe you can get a small round bench/storage container & put it in the middle. *Another idea if you love coral fish is the get a giant fish tank where the bench is, and put the bench in front of it…hehe

Have you considered making that front area into more of a “breakfast nook”. Table and and chairs that you can use as storage/desk/etc otherwise I think a larger mirror(standing and bronze/gold) would be nice in that area instead of the bench. Maybe some small wall shelves in the side to add books/decor/hooks for jackets/dog stuff

Such a cool video and so glad you showed us your home. I am loving the nook with the moody print and salt lamp- perfect! Glad you went with the green chairs as a pop of color is needed and they will wear better. I think you made all the right choices! I will tell you that where I live in the Florida Keys Amazon Prime takes a minimum of 8-10 days to deliver anything. A mirror on the wall in the nook is a great idea - you can do a nice big rectangular one which will make your space look bigger

Great video! For the entry i agree with people proposing to add another furniture piece - either a bookshelevs, or I would even go for an additional waredrobe for all the coats/ to hide the Dyson hoover and maybe all shopping bags etc. Definitely would add a mirror above the shoe cabinet ( looks very nice btw) and would add some wooden hooks above the seating bench for more cosy vibes and easy drop area for a basket or a nice bag etc. Check also if you can swap the bench and shoe cabinet places, cause it would be more comfortable to seat really near the door and you would see the mirrow more often ( that you can change if you do not like it, but it is actually quite nice) happy decorating!

Having a darker colour in the entry way can make a space look blocked off. You could always do a neutral chair and add table dressing such as plants to the kitchen island to create warmth.
