Thank you, got lots of flack for a bad mic and "eating' lol but Its not like I install shelves in a van for a living. lol Glad it helped out, I am going to do an update probably this weekend so keep an eye out, I have kept the main rack but made a couple changes with some other good storage ideas. Don't all vans in the states come with steel bulkheads behind the seats separating the cab from the rest of the van. Nice setup. There's no right or wrong way to set up a van its just what works for each tradesmen.

Where did you purchase the board where you put the hangers on?

I used the “craftsman” at Lowe‘a but they have a couple different ones out now. That was the first attempt, bedsides I should have taken my time and cut a little cleaner I’m still happy with it. Its been in for months after getting arranged still using it. I did end up running some self tapping screws thru the middle of the hangers to the back board once I decided in the final tool location. They did tend to slide left and right a little. Thanks for watching hope your project turns out well.

you don't think it'll be problematic that most of the weight in your vehicle from tools, equipment, etc is just on the the left side?

I know this is a late reply but I daily drive a 2008 Chevy Express, the really long and slow one. I keep nearly all my tools on the left of the van and have never once been fearful of taking turns and tipping over. It’s been a-ok for me!

Great idea mounting every expensive tool you own out where every crook can view the inventory, now that you’ve displayed the goods, think about installing a round Master lock with no hasp on the barn doors. I think you mentioned (about 20 times) that’s its a work van so the looks of the lock will be no problem

Thank you for watching the entire video and your comments, that was one of the first videos I posted, I think it was only (about 18 times) and they have been hanging in the same location for over 1 year now. The vehicle and all the tools are insured and if someone needs them bad enough to steal them I would just buy brand new ones, write them off thru the corporation and move on in life using the brand new tools just as happy or happier. The convenience of finding what I need is more important than the $800.00 of tools hanging on the rack. You know sometimes in life the things hanging right in front of your face are just distractions from what is really valuable... Again thank you for watching...

They actually don’t make any noise, the brackets are rubber coated, and the tools actually hang off the back a little bit. I’ve had them on there for months now, Going to do an updated video soon have moved a couple things around here and there but mostly still in the same positions. I’ve had a couple new ideas. Not to mention the video quality on the first one was horrible, was having Mic and camera issues. But again no noise from those at all, worst case you could take a small bungee wraparound from side to side to keep them from bouncing But the space saved and convenience of being able to find was well worth it for me. I am going to do another one soon, with out gum, with some other things I've modified and changed, may even just take it all apart and re-shoot the assembly, but again thanks for watching. Couldn't make it past 5 seconds. Sure, may be good info.. but you have to get your audio under control. That was like nails on a chalkboard my guy.. Pay someone to do voice overs or something. Lighting was not good either from the 5 secs I could barely tolerate.
