Oh my! This is exactly what my daughters' play room looks like almost all the time. It is hard to believe all those toys actually fit nicely organized, but when I'm all done I feel so proud. lol My 3yr old has a habit of walking into the clean playroom and immediately sprinkling legos and toy food all around. Its impossible to keep that room clean for long.

We have a similiar system in our playroom, love it! This time of year dollar tree has some awesome plastic containers (cute colors) that fit perfectly in your white cubby unit ... We have the same one :)

I just couldn't do that all the time we take things to the charity shop everytime new stuff come in my kids got very over whelmed they just used to tip it all out and not play with it when we started to sort things out they decided what they didn't need anymore and now they play really nicely and take alot more care with there things and my stress level dropped so much haha I really enjoyed this video it gave me some get up and go to clean 😁

You are inspiring to get me to clean my daughter's room. We did a big purge a couple of months ago but it hasn't made much of a difference. I need to take a day off from work during the next couple of weeks before she gets out of school to really go thru her room. The only toys she really plays with are Barbies, Paw Patrol, Shopkins, Little People and art supplies. So everything else can go . Like her big blocks... I don't remember the last time she played with them but we have a wagon full of them.

That's similar on how I keep my kids toys organized. Everything has a place. We have a playroom downstairs and they keep toys in their rooms upstairs. I even made a reading area for books. I like storing toys away in bins to rotate especially toys they don't seem to play with but might grown into sorta thing. It's more time consuming to organize all the toys but I can't just throw everything in a bin it bothers me. Plus j find my kids play better when everything is clean and organized they love it.

I do the same thing. My babies mix all their toys up and can’t find their favorites. So I organize them by type or category and they play with them more often. Also I can go thru and get rid of what they don’t use or other misc stuff they put in which don’t belong with toys like spoons or random bits of paper.

growing up with a huge play room and 2-5 siblings (step too) it was always a mess it was in our finished basement there were built in shelves and my mum had dfrnt color bins for each of us for our toys. the only things I played with was Barbie's and Polly pockets so my clean up was easier and for all of our toys like our kitchen things we had a bin she turned into a "fridge" idk we always cleaned the play room unless we made a huge barbie and GI Joe town and we would play with the town for the whole summer it was awesome. It is good to clean the playroom. Children can be overwhelmed with chaos just as much as adults. I only have one child but those toys accumulated so fast, you would think we had several children. So Once a year, I would start weeding out some of the older toys to make room for the new ones. Once he was old enough (4), I asked him if we could take some of them to children who do not have very many toys, and he willing helped me by picking out some that he wanted to give. Then he went with me to take them to a local family shelter. He really seemed to feel good about doing something for others. So, even now, at 13, he still collects toys for the shelters. Still not much for cleaning his room, though...lol.

Best way of organisating : get rid of most toys, only keep a few, hide half and alternate from time to time. We use our local toy library too.

Hello,I have a tip for your kids (and you):If you want your kids to put things in the correct bin/basket/box,it would be easier and fun to play a matching game.You can put a little dot sticker,let's say red on a toy (e.g action figures) and then using the computer to type "action figures" and maybe put a picture on the label with a red polka dot sticker.That way,putting things back will be more enjoyable.I'm not sure if it works with everyone,but it worked with my little cousin.Great video!Have a nice day.
