This was classic Mel Lindsey of the Quite Storm, WHUR, Howard University. He was the music DJ from 7:00 until midnight back in the 70 ‘s, 80’s and 90’s for Washington, DC.

Love the dialogue near the end 😂 Right up there with Cameo’s “Why Have I Lost You,” “Sparkle” and Chic’s “Warm Summer Night” And before that, Norman Connors’ “You Are My Starship” If you grew up in DC during that era, you KNOW what the f..k I’m talk’n about!

My favorite part starts at 3:36 when he tells her a** "It's all over, I hope you understand, there's no need to go any further. It's all over". And to that, I would like to add "You messed up, you had a good man but you blew it. I don't want you no more, step off!"A song where the WOMAN is begging the man to come back! Finally!! We need more songs like this simply because sometimes the WOMAN screws everything up. It ain't always us men dammit!! I've had more than one sweet thing break my heart over the years!

This was a nice song but the part where the guy tells her off is classic!! It's not always the woman who gets dumped and has hurt feelings. Females play relationship games too, and that's why some men just knock boots and move on to the next one. It's like they're saying "I'm gonna do it to you before you do it to me."
