This man is my childhood friend and brother. We sang together for years and I will forever cherish the memories of growing up in our group "The Black Five" later "The 4 Steps Beyond" and the many shows with our band Experience Unlimited. This is and will always be one of those great songs that does not get the proper recognition. I read a lot of the comments before I posted this and FYI; Toney Fountaine has passed away some time ago. Such and sad and waste. Also the great voice that does the background on this song was Barbara Malone who was also a DC native passed on a few years ago. Her passing was one of the saddest days of my life.We had been High School friends and she sung at my fathers funereal. Enjoy this song and smile.

For 15 years I have been thinking of this song and who sung it. I knew some of the words and I had it on a cassette tape back in the day until the tape deck ate it. With the help of "Google" I put some of the words in and I saw this man and I just knew it was him. I never knew who sung it back in the day of listening to {♡ WHUR ♡} 96.3 every night.
