With a help of orgal diagram discuss the electronic spectrum of octahedral v(lll) complexes. The electronic spectrum of an octahedral v(lll) complex has the following spectral bands 17200cm-1, 25,700cm-1, 36,000cm-1. assign these transactions evaluate 10Dq,B' and nephelauxetic ratio(for free metal ion B=861cm-1)
