¡Brilliant! ¡Outstanding! This is one of the most accurately precisely and masterfully performance had ever seen, there is many goods of this concerto but this overtakes and surpasses all of them, when we see you performing, we see Bach's style, your use of the pedal is so masterfully and even though you're not watching it below only for a few seconds, the registers, Ah! is such a delight hearing and the vibrato and legato is overwhelmingly so linked and fluid, that springs such beauty to the performing. Thank you very much, indeed, I hugely enjoyed this version, after Ton Koopman's version, this one is the nearest to it and to Bach.

Cómo logran que una grabación de órgano llegue a ser tan nítida, tan limpia y clara??? los micrófonos van al interior del instrumento o tiene algún truco para esto??? en Medellín tenemos un excelente instrumento en la Catedral Metropolitana y nunca hemos logrado alcanzar esta excelencia de grabación.

Se colocan de 6 a 8 micrófonos cerca del instrumento a tres alturas y luego con filtro y sintetizador se termina de pulir el sonido . Es una tristeza que en México existan muy pocos Órganos en funcionamiento y en Europa y E.U se sigan fabricando.

Maybe a little late, but isn't that the 'Obenwerk' (Upper Works)? Isn't the 'Rückpositiv' the lowest manual? Correct me if I'm wrong :)

@@arthurdeman4068 no, in this organ there isn't a Ruckpositv (a positif de dos, so behind the shoulders of the organist) the lower manual is the Great, the second one the Positive and the third one the Swell

I really enjoy Ulf's playing. This performance however doesn't convince me. For my taste, in the Allegro movements the registration is too heavy, and sometime the articulation a bit uneven, overly fussy and thus sounds belabored. These pieces are much harder than they at first appear. They should sound as light and effortless as air. This is just my personal reaction to this performance. It in no way diminishes the respect I have and the joy it gives me to hear Ulf play. I think he is a fantastic organist and musician!!!

I think this is a great performance but I'm also inclined to agree with you. In my opinion, Simon Preston's rendition of BWV 594 is the definitive version. Simply flawless. and sounds effortless
