Перед тем как обвязывать "молнию", надо прострочить ее на швейной машине без нитки.Получатся ровные дырочки и не надо каждыйраз с уилием протыкать "молнию". Шаг стежка можно выбрать по желанию - пошире или поуже, или втыкать крючок не в каждую дырочку, а через одну

Hooks end up poking through the cracks and holes of the bag. It's better to put a lining in for those.

А теперь представьте ситуацию, когда слетел/поломался бегунок, деформировалось звено молнии и т.п. На мой взгляд, фурнитуру практичнее пришивать/прикреплять на готовое изделие. Кроме того, здесь абсолютно очевидно, что молния фалдит, значит, количество петель или плотность вязания неправильно подобраны к молнии, а должно быть наоборот: молния обычно подбирается к готовому изделию.

I love this. I have been trying to figure out what I was going to make for all the ladies I work with and this is perfect. Идея классная, но хочу посоветовать: провязав первый ряд на молнии, оторвите нить, а второй ряд с новой нитью.!!! Если будут проблемы с молнией, вы беспроблемно поменяете молнию. Если нить единная, не каждая рукодельница сможет отпороть молнию, не повредив второй ряд!!! ❤
