If they want to continue on with NEW music and a new sound, then fine. But if they continue on and force a new voice to try and fit into Chesters old screaming/songs, then I am out. I love Alice In Chains but every time DuVall tries to sing ‘Man in the box’ or ‘Rooster’, my ears bleed and I die a little inside. The new stuff (post Layne) Alice In Chains produced centered around DuValls voice and that is a different story. Just like how LP songs were centered around Chesters voice. If LP wants to create new songs that fit the new singers voice then I say why not give it a shot…but if they try to have the new person sing 99% of their old catalog like ‘crawling’ or ‘easier to run’, nah I’m gone ✌🏼

@@TheAwesomeOne97 I did listen to that when it came out with an open mind and it just didn’t do it for me. That kid would be similar to Matt Walst whom replaced Adam Gontier from 3 days grace. Matt has a great voice but lacks the grit Adam has. and just the same, every time Matt tries to sing an old Adam song, you can clearly hear the difference. I’m not hating on a new singer for LP, I’m just saying at the end of the day MOST of us will go listen to Chester on an old song and just feel hollow. Maybe not you, but many will.

@@felynx5428 Oh, I’d absolutely LOVE to. So, he took the name Orgy and continued on with it after abandoning all 4 other members. So he’s doing shows calling it Orgy under false pretenses which is lying to fans. Not only that, but he made a diss track about the other members “Grime of the Century”. Now he’s LYING saying he didn’t say this statement about Linkin Park or it’s taken out of context when it’s literally on video.
