Yes, according to the credits there were about 49 people listed but from what I've been able to find the "core" team consisted of between 10--15 people, though some say as many as 22 people. Still a very impressive number considering the detail and quality of this title @@thelifesampler

I've just recently played both the Blind Forest and Will of the Wisps.. the Blind forest is more simplified but you can definitely tell that the team learned a lot from it and the direction they went with the second game is realy impressive. I am on my 3rd playthrough of Will of the Wisps. I enjoy how lively the world feels compared to the desolation and solitude of the first game. And the pacing is perfectly done. Picking up some of your more important traversal skills early on really shows appreciation for the players time. Meanwhile most games will have you go hours into the game before you pick up something as simple as double jump. Will of the Wisps is definitely one of those games I just wish had more content to explore.

That's really interesting. I actually found Blind Forest to be super cool with each section feeling unique in its mechanics, music and visuals. It was only really during some of the cutscenes early on I felt the desolation really came through. 🤔 One of the things I loved about the Blind Forest though is that it let you skill up the way you wanted - it sort of suggested and pushed you towards certain builds but as soon as I saw the Dash I was definitely just aiming for that. 😅😅 I'm super keen to check out Will of the Wisps but unfortunately I'm not sure when I'll be able to get on to it. I am also really looking forward to see what Moon Studios' next game will be like though. "No Rest for the Wicked" looks really cool with that artstyle, music and combat. 🤯

Yes, I think Ori is definitely a timeless classic at this point and when people rediscover it; they will be surprised by how good this game was

I just played both Ori and the Blind Forest, and Ori and the will of the wisps for the first time about a little bit longer than a week ago. And let me say it’s probably one of the best platforming games I’ve ever had the pleasure of playing. Sure it made me want to bash my head against the wall several times, but you can just tell the amount of care put into the game. I’m proud to say I beat both of them!

That's actually so cool! I loved the blind forest so much - it is genuinely one of the best video game experiences I had in 2023. Personally I've played games that got me angry but for some reason this game didn't - I mean I guess I got annoyed but it was all still so fun! Such an awesome game!

most definatley worth playing, finished the blind forest a couple of weeks ago, 100% on normal, now im at the last map of will of the wisps. beatyful design, awesome gameplay and even better story, i like the sequel better though with all the sidequests. wish there will be a follow up.

Apologies YT didn't notify me of your comment. That's great! I'm very keen to check out the sequel - I'm not sure when I'll be able to but it's definitely on my list of games to try. I do feel like a third game would be awesome, unfortunately or fortunately depending on your perspective - Moon Studios is working on a new IP called No Rest for the Wicked which looks amazing so far. I am very keen to see how this one goes!

Gret review. This game beat me up on the first run, but I replayed it for the achievements and it was easier with every playthrough. You need to play and review the sequel, The Will of the Wisps. It builds on everything and takes it to a higher level.

Yes, Ori is such a great example of what a good video game can be! Will of the Wisps is definitely on my list but there are some other games that I'm looking tackle before heading back to this world at the moment. One day though, just not today 😅

Oh damn, I only played on Normal and it was a challenge, i started a Hard playthru but not sure when I'll get through it! Definitely a great title!

@@dox_plays It can be very frustrating at the early stages, I actually finished the game before getting the dash and the other abillity because I forgot about that dark biome 😂 So I definetly made that a tiny bit harder than necesary, cuz I didnt get all the health orbs and etc.

It really is so good, I'm definitely keen to check out the sequel also - Unfortunately I'm not a big Metroidvania type gamer so I don't think its fair for me to suggest any. I have heard good things about Celeste, Super Meatboy, Hollow Knight, Dead Cells and Deaths Gambit so keen to check those out, They are all part of the same or similar genre. Let me know if you end up playing them though as I'm interested in checking them out too! Happy Gaming!

@@dox_plays Other metroidvanias besides Ori i can recommend would be Blasphemous one and two, Hollow Knight, Guacamelee!, Unbound World's Apart also the darkest tales is a decent game.

The ori games run horribly on pc, so best to stick to console gaming in general, yet alone for this series

Yeah, I noticed as well. It runs better on my Switch than on my gaming PC. On my PC I had quite a lot of lags and stutters that arent happening on my Switch. I was wondering how this is possible since my PC is way more powerful.

Must only affect modern cards - it (and Ori and the Will of the Wisps) runs beautifully on my 1070, but hilariously I found stuttering on Switch.
