Ever have it when you are at the spirit tree or any of the really good music and you actually FEEL like you are there running, attacking, fleeing, standing there by ori? Just you and ori, standing there, facing the dark in the eye and never flinching, determined to continue no matter how much you fall down, are pierced by your guilt, you always have each other to back one another up and stand back up again. The music really helps with this and basically makes me feel like ori is right by me... telling me that I am alright, and I have a power inside of me to do the right thing and have the strength to ward the evil away... giving me guidance every step of the way and being my friend forever no matter what... I don't know why I'm drifting off in this, must be because this music is drifting me to a mindset of pure determination and hope, that we can change anything if we try.

Borrowed this game from the library god knows how many years later, and man, these segments after getting the elements were so absurdly well put together, the crumbling set pieces, the tie-in to the story, and the swelling orchestras, when I got to this segment I actually teared up, which I don’t very often do, it was just an exceptionally beautiful and moving sequence, on top of being a challenging section.

Most people probably heard the extended versions of this and, especially, Ginso escape segment track before they heard the standard ones (and they may have been the only things keeping them from ragequitting). Very nice anim to accompany beautiful OST, BTW.
