If you listen carefully, ori's theme appears in watermill escape, where you delivers it from corruption (foul presence), in the mora's fight when you dug up half of her HP (you are beating her, and delivering her from the corruption), kwolok's theme when you fight him after the escape sequence, bc you must free him from the foul presence, and shriek's theme when you also did a good portion of the fight, bc you must free shriek from its hate

We all need to appreciate what a beautiful game this is. The emotional backstories of every single character, the soundtracks on the scenes, I don't think we deserve something this great. This game deserves more attention, and even If there was a movie, a manga, and some game theorists video, we would never achieve what this game deserves.
@jadeypup Жыл бұрын
ah yes the three mediums: Movies, manga, and *game theorist videos*

Doesn't need any of that. It's a beautiful and extremely well crafted piece of media, limited to two fantastic video games. Who wants a manga, movie, or theorist videos? The story and world are so simple and beautifully told and experienced as is. Loading it down with extra unnecessary crap would worsen it in general in my opinion. But that aside this game deserves all its credit and more no matter how much it's gotten. Basically a flawless game.

The fact that you have a no damage boss rush of this game within the first week of its release speaks volumes of the level of skill you have at the moment. This is how the battles against Ori's foes deserve to look. And incidentally, against the laser ball within the Willow's End, it is more effective to use the Light Burst, it literally eats several chunks of health from the boss in seconds. Mores so if you have the shard that makes it spawn 3 smaller versions upon exploding.

Mora is the latest boss I've fought, and she was probably the first real challenge I've had on Hard that actually felt like a boss encounter. A lot of trial and error, and mistakes, and she melts your health. I had the Shards which make myself and the enemy hit harder, and the one that buffs the opponent in return for greater reward, which obviously made the encounter even harder than it needed to be. Still, was intense, and exhilarating; and felt good to overcome.
@legrandliseurtri74953 жыл бұрын
I first tried her on normal, so I was surprised that in hard mode she's actually somewhat difficult; in fact, she took me more tries than Kwolok, who gave me real trouble back in normal. Now that I've played hard mode, I'a actually say her patterns are more difficult than Kwolok, but in normal she does so little damage that you can just spam your attacks and she'll die before you do. However, now that I actually got to experience it a little, I must say that I find the fight to not be well designed. It's kind of hard to tell what part of her body hurts you and what doesn't, the darkness kills you instantly instead of taking a few seconds to kill you like the whole damn level taught you, her spider babies can overlap with other attacks in ways that don't seem intended and finally she does identical starting animations for several of her attacks. Plus, the whole concept is just so uncreative. It's a big spider in a den filled of spiders. Oh joy.
@changewingkid39382 жыл бұрын
It’s cool how you can tell Ori’s maturing. In the blind forest he had to rely on a wisp to attack, and he ran away from collapsing places instead of actual fighting. Now he can use his light to make weapons and I love it.

@@matthewweinberg633 I don't think there is any particular order you need to get them in? Obviously yesh you can only get to certain areas when you get new skills, but for me also, I fought mora pretty much near the end of my main playthrough also I think. When you realise in ORI world the spider is as big as a bear RIP arachnophobic people. And birds are dangerous and fearsome than all above
@emeraldangel99124 жыл бұрын
Not really. For starters, there's only one bear that I'm aware of, I'm only 14% through baur's reach so I could be wrong. But mora is the size of the big bear's head so unless mora is WAY below average for adult Niwen spiders, which I don't believe she is, then fully grown Niwen spiders should about the same. But the bosses are probably way above average size, which is why the decay possessed them to guard the wisps, probably, so spiders are probably nowhere near the size of the bear.

I'm gonna put some theoretical sizes for the bosses. I'm assuming that the "world" is normal sized, with Ori being around 2-4 feet, so here we go: Howl: Around 4-5x as tall as Ori, so that could be 8-20 feet tall. Horn Beetle: 4x as tall as ori, so 8-10 feet tall. The purple thing: 8-200+ feet tall, depending on whether it chooses to be. Those are some long ass tentacles. Mora: (To her head) 5x as tall as Ori, (To the top of her abdomen) approximately 15x as tall as Ori. That's 10-45 feet tall, depending on how you measure it. Kwolok: Around 8(?)x as tall as Ori, which would be 16-24 feet tall. Sandworm: (Width/height) about 3-4x as tall as Ori, or 6-12 feet. (Length) I'd say around 30-40x as much as Ori's height, which is 60-120 feet. Willow Stone: 5x Ori, 10-15 feet. Shriek: 2-2.5x as tall as Mora, which would be 90-112.5 feet tall. Wingspan is at least 100 feet. In meters: Howl: 2.5-6 meters Horn beetle: 2.5-3 meters Purple thing: 2.5-60+ meters Mora: 3-13 meters (head and full size) Kwolok: 4.8-7.6 meters Sandworm: (Width) 1.8-3.6 meters, (Length) 18-36 meters Willow Stone: 3-4.5 meters Shriek: 27-34 meters, (wingspan) at least 30 meters. I messed up several times and forgot that I typed 2-4 and not 2-3 feet, so some calculations are slightly off, but I'm not taking any more time to correct it, since this probably won't even be seen.
