Look at these comments. What has gaming become? You should all be ashamed of yourselves. We have PS4 and Xbox One users at each others' throats, and of course the typical smug PC supremacists, who for some reason think that intentionally limiting yourself to one platform and ignoring everything else somehow makes you "hardcore". Play games, not systems. You should want to own every system, because literally every platform ever made has its own games worth playing (except maybe the CDi). There are no benefits whatsoever to being a fanboy. All you're doing is limiting your prospects, deliberately imposing restrictions on yourself. Restrictions that no gamer should accept, let alone celebrate. I mean, what kind of gamer takes pride in excluding themselves from ANY portion of the games market? It just doesn't make sense to me. It's not about the systems you own, it's about the games you enjoy.

Thank you! It is a shame how people are now. Heck this game is great but people that can't play it will say it sucks or "this game coming later will be better" and crap. People can't enjoy good games anymore or be happy when a good game comes out. It's always "oh it's on XB1, it must suck" and such. Glad I'm just enjoying games. I just beat this game today. AND I AM JUST BLOWN AWAY BY HOW AMAZING THIS GAME IS. This is one of the best looking games I've seen in my life, the play was simple yet fun and challenging. The games beginning and ending were fantastic and sad. I am so glad I got this game. Ori and the Blind Forest is tied with Bloodborne as my favorite games of 2015

I'm a PS fan of 16 years and I finally decided it was time to get my first Xbox to play Halo and Forza for the first time ever. Might get the Halo bundle for $349 in a few days and what a perfect time to buy one since this game just released. Journey was my favorite digital game of last gen, and I hope I have the same feeling playing this game for the first time like I did with Journey. can't wait to start new memories with Xbox. ^_^

Incredible game. I was hooked. I beat it in 9 hours. Didn't unlock a lot of the attacks and skills, made it much harder. The game was very frustrating, but even more rewarding and satisfying. I was blown away. It's beautiful, and the depth in the graphics are insane. I was looking forward to this game for over 2 years. The mechanics in the game and so crazy and neat. So much is going on in the game. At first it's over whelming, but it's easy to learn, super smooth and responsive. You feel like you learn more just as ori is. Great music too. I would honestly say best game I've played in a long time. So interactive, and in depth. It's only 20 bucks and we'll worth it. So crazy hard achievements too. I suggest you pick this game up, so great. I hope people actually read this and find it useful. Lol.

Van Ord actually got this one spot on. Got this game as soon as it came out. Well worth it! It'll draw you in to the wonderful world. It reminds me a bit of Outland (YOU MUST PLAY IT IF YOU HAVEN'T) though it's quite shorter, and the world doesn't seem as big. Overall though it is a great game and well worth the purchase.

Just bought this game on steam 2 days ago, I'm about 30% in and let me tell you, this game is awesome! for £10, you get lots and lots of hours of gameplay + it doesn't look it, but the game is quiet challenging. some sequences have to be executed perfectly. If you liked rayman origins / legends, or just looking for a bit of a change in scenery from the AAA titles, i definitely recommend picking this up!

except once you beat one hard obstacle, another comes right after that and you only have your save point which takes you back all the way and you only have one check point to place and after that you must wait a damn long time before getting it again plus the difficulty is piss shit hard too early with two hit deaths, insane enemy projectile speed during puzzle navigating and once you pass all that your stuck. Mainly due to the many items you must keep check on depending on what type of door you want to open along with the insane amount of paths where you pick one and another comes up to a dead end leaving you to backtrack through those damn obstacles AGAIN. The lazer part in the video where he went left is what i'm talking about, barely 30 minutes in and finally passed that area and then quit due to the damn time it took me to find a point less dead end.

I'd wholeheartedly recommend playing with a controller. I'm sure it could be played with a keyboard like most platformers and play just fine, but once you starting access to some abilities like projectile redirection, you'll find the precision of an analog stick difficult to top. That being said, you're going to want to play on either an Xbox One controller or perhaps DualShock 3/4 because the precision of the d-pad is second to none on those controllers, ideal for the level of control the game demands. Something I've found the Xbox 360 and Steam Controller sorely lack.

Trial and error ruined this game. It's a shame that devs aren't able to create actual challenging gameplay and instead throw players in a lot of unfair situations where they basically HAVE to die just to find out what to do. Unbelievable how they adapted the Metroid formula with exploration and sweet power ups all over the place and still were able to fuck up so hard. Looked nice though.

Would love to buy this game but I suck at multitasking platformers. Whats the other platformer on xbox, one with the brother and the magic pencil. that was my level of skill and I managed to die a lot on that. I would buy this game just to support the people who made this an art form.
