Little combat tidbit: If you hold down while on the ground, you'll perform the final attack of an attack chain. For example, the stab of the spirit edge or the ground-pound of the spirit smash. Just to mention you can do a down directional attack with spirit edge and smash, the spirit edge would do a spike whereas the spirit smash would do a slam on the ground similar to Ori's previous stomp. (can open breakable floors and upgraded to produce a shockwave)

I am not going to lie. A lot of story based games I usually just rush the hell out of them. Mainly because yeah there interesting but most of them never really wanted me to do a 100% but Ori and the will of the wisps was something interesting. I played the first game and yeah I loved it but I found a couple of things that I despised like you use a orb of light that just shoots "light" to damage enemies. I never really liked the combat in it. But the story was nice so sometimes I completely forgot it. I won't lie about this either. Ori and the will of the wisps I thought it would just be like a normal based game yknow just one that people took like 3 days for a cash grab. But when I played it I really liked it. Normally when I play games in general with a Easy, Normal, Hard type factor. I always go for hard for a specific reason. I love challenges, the fact that I don't just think of a solution in a second facinates me. This game works with it. It shows where to go but it isnt fully blatent. The combat is you actually doing things and I love it. The 2d gameplay with the 3d act. that just blows me. I have about an 87% and I beated the whole game at like 75%. I won't lie I kinda rushed to see the end because I was really into it. Now I am just trying to get all the health and gorlek ores, etc. The game is a masterpiece in my opinion and the reason I started to actually like Story type games. But coming from me that doesn't really say much does it? Anyway I just wanted to show it. I do want that this game is a breath of itself. The art design, music and just generally everything. I admit the story kind of being confusing but still enjoying. Besides that everything else was just amazing. I didn't like that when they were talking about Shriek they said "Shriek didnt accept the help she needed" or so on. It made it seem that is was Shriek's fault when it really wasn't. I mean she never got included instead isolated. So of course when she finally gets help its not easy to accept it. The game felt relatable and just generally a blast. The combat is much more better then the first game. And the heart inside the game never left. I reccomend it greatly. Like come on guys *Were basically robbing them. This game costs like 13 dollars. This game deserves WAY MORE. But I am so glad its cheap enough for many people to play*

Quick word for everyone. There are some bugs in the game i.e complete the game 100% get nothing, find all energy, nothing. Find everything in the game nothing. Don't expect achievements for certain things.

Most of them you can get from tree of light,

Bow, Flash, Flap and Light burst are required but you get them from trees of light (or from the normal progression for flap). The only one that really makes an impact on the areas you can access to and need to be bought is the hammer, it has an attack not shown here that you perform by holding downward while in the air and then pressing the hammer button, if will do a slam on the ground that destroy fragile ground. Others afaik are just dealing damage normally. That attack can then be upgraded to make a wave of ice stalactites by the way, pretty cool looking.

Glitchy and the Will of the Wisps... ... Imagine getting all the way to one of those tree blobs at the top in Willow's End only to get transported through a portal into the walls and stuck forever,... (not to mention the excessive freezing every 20 minutes or so, or every time you stop to look at the map) Don't get me wrong, the game is BREATHTAKING. BUT Dayum, glitchy AF. Ori and the Will of the Glitch,... Glitchy and the Glitch of the Glitch.

@@NigSparrow you having the same issues? This part of the map is the WORST, by far, with the freezing. I even had the game crash on me just as I finished destroying one of those tree blobs. I think I just completed the game though. It seems it was a lot easier than the first one. I only wanted to smash things a couple times in this game for the "unty with a C" little things they put in the game like making the triple jump pretty much useless. (Might as well not even have a "triple" jump) Don't get me wrong, the music is phenomenal, and the visually are equally phenomenal,... But the freezing up every few seconds has got to go.
