Played it with my Daughter who was just 5 years old. Had no idea Maru was about to "die", and for a 5 year old who gets invested into the characters instantly, she started to cry. I promised her that she was just "sleeping" or "hibernating" and that later in the game she'd come back! She said "Show me that part!" so I played it through with her, every day after school, all week. A difficult game for an old guy like me (lol), but we made it and MARU CAME BACK! (Thank GOD!). Great memories of Ori 1, and Ori 2 just last year. Hopefuly they make a third game.

If you have not played the Ori games you probably mist out of one of the best platforming/adventure games of all time. Tight control, brilliant design/art and epic music like this to set it all together. This soundtrack is amazing and should be on all spotify lists.

The first time I booted up Ori and the Will of the Wisps, that main menu was hypnotic. I literally couldn’t look away. I stared at the screen listening to the music with tears in my eyes for about 10-15 minutes. There’s no game like Ori. Absolute diamond of a game.
