hey, this isn't really related to this vid, but is there a way to use max to send out the video output of ableton into another software like touchdesigner? because i have a live set where i imported mp4 videos, and they automatically have all of live's tempo warping, so they just work perfectly for what i need, but I'd have to do alot of work to get all of it working in touch designer. i think it should be possible, becuase i've heard of showsync tools has a feature that allows you to send your video to other software using spout or syphon. I'm not sure how all that stuff works, but if you have any insight into this, or could point me to a tutorial that could help me to work with ableton video that would be nice

Hey! Not sure if you can grab the video from a live track with Max, I don’t think so avtuallly. Definitely you could do it with Showsync. Then you just need a syphon or spout receiver in TD.

Hi there, amazing tut!!! And, I got a question for you Federico. As the objects are animated to look at the target position, they also rotate on themselves, do you know how to avoid this secondary movements? For example, if ones send @rotate values to the [jit.gl.camera] with the @tripod attribute active, this secondary movements are filtered, resulting in a movement that keeps track of the presence of an up and a down, as would a viewer affected by gravity. And so I guess there should be a way to replicate the functioning of the @tripod attribute inside [jit.gen]. What do you think? Probably not a easy one here. Anyway, cheers!

Hi Riccardo! I get what you mean, there is probably a math trick that can be used in the gen to fix that. I haven't looked into that yet, but it's probably not too difficult. Will reply here when I find out!

@@AmazingMaxStuff I would like to know more about this mathematic but I do not have good reference to study at the moment. I find lot of material online but I am not sure about which one to pick up.
