Origami Jumping Paper Octopus | How to make a fidget toy

Let's make an origami fidget toy - a jumping paper octopus! Click on the octopus and it will move! The octopus moves so funny that it is so difficult to stop clicking on it! And if you press on the side of an octopus, it will jump! Make some and play with your friends with these cuties, like racing or whose octopus will jump far or whose octopus will roll over.
We will need:
2 sheets of paper 14.5x14.5 cm / 6x6 inches
(you can use paper 1-2 cm larger)
markers

Well there's nothing simple about this. Very skilled bit of work and so clever. The hands of this person are more beautiful than the object being created! They look like the hands of a pianist. Getting the 8 legs right at the end proved to be very tricky and I ended up cheating and scissor cut the four legs into pairs so I got 8. But this is a most impressive bit of craft.

For the people who want to know if you you need to use thin or thick paper here is your answer. You have to you thin paper to make this otherwise if you use thick paper it won’t work.
