My son, who's 11, made an origami orchid for me for mother's day - I got it early this morning because I'll be out of town this weekend. He put it in a tall glass vase with green spagnum moss. It's pure white and I thought it was an actual orchid at first. It's even better than a real one... it was 'grown' with love! -- one happy mom

I spent almost 3 straight hours trying to do this.... The end of it became a game of ‘fold the paper in the general direction it needs to be in’.... my advice: use a LARGE square of THIN paper. 10/10 tutorial, great job!! I’ll be back when I get good paper.

i was wondering why the sinks were so weird doing the folding by looking at the diagrams and i got stuck. you helped me there :) The final product is really beautiful and worth the effort. I looked up for a real orchid on the internet and tried to shape mine according to it.

Which is the size of the paper? What paper do you recommend using? Do you think I can manage making 21 orchids before June 21st if I am almost inexperienced in making origami figures?

I think I will go back to something easier before trying this again... Because if I don't, I will probably get frustrated rapidly... Anyway, I hope someday I'll be able to make this correctly, but for now I can't. Also (just a suggestion) if you could organize your videos by difficulty level it would be really cool I think. Also thanks for your videos and your awesome work!
