Your accent is nearly hypnotic. I'm very excited to be learning tesselations - I thought they were something that only really experienced folders could do, and I want to develop some tesselated folded motifs in fabric.

Thank you so much for this and all your videos. I am a sewer and would actually like to make some fabric tessellations. I so appreciate your calm, easy, "you too, can do it", manner of your teaching!

@Pyresh You can also try searching for origami quilts. It may give you some inspiration for combining tessellation motifs and working with fabric.

Thank you so much. Trying to get into tesselations - they are so beautiful. I am going to learn the basics from your videos.

Have fun exploring tessellations. And a fair warning - they can be quite addictive. :)

Fold slowly and just one layer at a time. Try to always fold to an edge, rather than a crease line. You'll have to reverse creases for this, but that will actually make the grid creases stronger - which is usually another plus.

@trrngrl01 Great to hear that these basics help you on your way. Tessellations are indeed very mesmerizing!

Dear Sara, First of all, thank you so much for you great tutorials. I'm working on Eric Gjerde Tesselation book and I've difficulties in folding the triangle grid. On a 35 centimeters paper square and I often have problems of precisions, I was wondering if you had advises or tricks to be more precise. Thanks
