Guys, people who are saying that this is hard, your right! It is hard. But you must know that you may be unsuccessful doing this. But if you try again and again and again, you will make it. It took me 6 tries but I got it because I was trying again and again.

My A4 paper size was 29.7 & 21.1 but when divided into 8 parts each reqtangle size was 10.5 & 7.5 Can you tell me why and what to do now
@SweetPaper3 жыл бұрын
10.5 x 7.5 is perfect. Since 10.5 x 7.5 was too small for the tutorial, from 2:27, I used 15 x 10.5. (You can turn English subtitles on from setting button on the video) .

what're the dimensions of the paper for both sets of units, and also are these Japanese characters (curious, I'm beginning to learn some myself)
@SweetPaper7 жыл бұрын
Start with an A4 size (29.7 cm x 21 cm) paper. Then divide it into 8 (7.43 cm x 10.5 cm) pieces 1:07. But any size is OK, if the ratio is 1:1.4. "Characters" you mentioned about are the subtitles on my video? Yes, it's Japanese.

How do you put a smaller cube inside?
@SweetPaper4 жыл бұрын
You can put two types of cube inside: one is to make the same transforming cube with 10% smaller paper, the second one is to make "Yoshimoto cube No.2" kzbin.info/www/bejne/boHOeo2Oa7ugmZY (also with 10% smaller paper)

The instructions are slightly incorrect. In the english written instructions it ssys your need four connectors, but you actually need SIX connectors. Apart from that, good stuff.

A bit hard but I can work with it. =)

Question: first cut the 1:1.4 ratio into 8 equal pieces. 6 for blocks. 1 cut into 4 for hinges, how many hinges pieces 6? (Video shown only 4). Should I cut the last piece into 4. 2 for hinges (keep the 1/2 for lock a larger size?). I have to stop before the last block to be connected for questions. I am exciting because my paper size trial seems OK to work on good Origami paper. Patiently and happily waiting.
@SweetPaper4 жыл бұрын
As you wrote, you'll need 6 hinges. Sorry for keep you wait, and you might have finished already😅
@bannguyen50574 жыл бұрын
Sweet Paper - you need not say sorry, you are for many people? 6 hinges OK, the lock piece same size of the hinges or double? Will do it tomorrow. Many thanks.
@SweetPaper4 жыл бұрын
For the lock, you will use the leftover piece as whole, the double size of the hinges. Have a good night😴
@bannguyen50574 жыл бұрын
Sweet Paper - thanks for every thing. It is done after I reconnected over and over the last hinge w/o watching your video, I went ahead inserting the last hinge best way that I could but still doubting about what I had done, your video proof it. An expensive experience 😉😆😂

Have you tried already😮? It would be a tiny cube, but not impossible, I think. Use thin paper, otherwise use 2 sheets of A5, divide in 4 each.

Yes, each block has one hinge (because you need 6 blocks and 6 hinges to make the cube). But when you connect the blocks, look like a block has 2 hinges 9:19. Sorry, may be it's too late.
