@@ReaperChi3f yea for sure.. he could sell it at a fair or even to his subscribers unless he is hoarding honey lol. Also he should have cleared the filter screen of wax so it would filter easier. Maybe melt it off in boiling water or a hot plate.

Your honey tastes better/different because most commercial honey's are blended from many different hives in different places, sometimes in completly different countries. They do that to get a more consistant taste. Yours is only from a handful of different hives(or even just one), so it'll show more of the flavor of the local plants. I guess you could try putting one hive far away from another and test if you can taste a difference between the honey of the hives, as an experiment.

Hi Taras! I have been helping a friend harvesting honey for a wile now. The red thing to take the caps of the honey, you should push it parallel with the frame and just gently take the caps of. For the spinner, you should put the frames in equal weight on opposite sides so this way it doesn’t jump around, and first star at a lower speed on both sides to take the majority of the honey first and after use the higher speed to make sure that the frame is empty of honey. And for the filter, you should use a half sphere like filter, this way the caps will stay on the bottom and you will stil have the sides to let the honey flow. Keep on doing the good work!

He had the centrifuge completely filled (equal on all sides), it should be weighted down or bolted down.

Nice looking honey Taras. A tip for you. When you want to spin the opposite direction turn the power off and wait till it stops spinning before switching and turning it on. Switching that motor while it is still spinning is very hard on the motor windings and it will shorten the life of your spinner considerably.

Cool! I feel like eating honey its easily been 2 years since I ate some honey. Just curious, what do you do so your bees can eat after you harvest? Do you leave some honey for them or you give them something else?

Usually bee keepers have the hive set up so that the bottom box or 2 is brood and stock for the winter and the top box is what they pull off. Also since it's getting into the fall this is the last time he will pull honey so they have from now till November or December to stalk up on honey
