This is my stealth build, the 315p is the perfect drug smuggling ship with the current game. 12sc is the right amount so you arent sitting around waiting to sell. 315p small fast very agile ship. By far my favorite drug smuggler

Long term plan is to upgrade my 300i to the 315p, but until the tractor beam is useable (or removable) or exploration gameplay is put in, I am holding off on the upgrade. Great review Subliminal, the extra part at the end on getting good use out of 315p was a nice addition. Cheers!

You can buy an SCU and not apply it. That means you have a 315p available the moment the tractor beams are usable and don't have to worry if it leaves the store.

I run my drug runs without weapons and shut down shields unless I predict trouble. Reduces EM signature significantly. If you're found run that after burner and hope they don't have a Bucaneer.

Try after picking up drugs not mission boxes, go to an OM, then got to bed and log out. When I log back in, most of the time I end up near the Stanton Sun with all my cargo. I have not worked to much with this but it would not hurt to try, for when the next 30K shows up.

The P in 315p stands for pirate. It comes in matt black, with stealth components, good scanners, a tractor beam and great ccu capacity for its size.

If your "moving product" keep your counter clear of things like that coffee maker. you can fit 3 boxes on top and 3 boxes below it. If your doing the 15k box missions, that i know your doing, you can get all your boxes out of the way. No need to refuel, you drink quantum fuel like a prius!

I feel like if they expand it’s “pathfinding” class by giving it beacons would be sick, like you stop by jumptown or some other lab and just drop off a couple beacons a couple hundred meters away so you can just jump right back

That is exactly what I have been using mine for! It is perfect for the stealthy smuggling runs. My buy in to to SC was the 315p starter package back in 2015. I put all Stealth A components and have added the Lightstrike 2 cannons gimballed ( will pop sz 3 fixed in 3.10 to test) to keep my EM sig down. If I am feeling a little lazy and/or cautious, I will drop the Qdrive back to an Atlas for range to avoid having to refuel when running from Hurston to Arccorp to Crusader and back to Hurston.

Thank you!!! I can't tell you how much I have looked to find out if you can get in with a box or not! My pledge ship is a Gladius and I want a cargo/box missions ship and this seems to be a ton better than a c8x but I could not confirm if you can carry boxes inside or if they work in the cargo hold. Seeing you carry it up the ladder and not even need a multitool to get the box inside is so useful as it confirms what I thought. Thanks!

Since you are setting up and using a stealth craft, go to your heat menu and click on suppress all. Stealth items might need to be actively suppressed to make them work properly, which would also use power. I read it works better than reducing power, give it a try. I wish there was a 'Range To Target' indicator on your HUD, after pressing scanning target, without blowing your stealth.

I have a 300i, but might trade to a more specialized model. I like this one, but I'd like to be able to swap the tractor for a cannon. I mostly do cargo runs with my Cutty, so I just use the 300 to zip around. So I'm considering the racing model as well.

@@SubliminaLstv You'd mentioned the buggy cargo ramp. I placed a delivery box and tried to close it. It didn't move, so I hit the button again to reverse the pistons. I got back under, and picked up the box. The ramp closed, and I was stuck inside. Theres no button or way to interact. Which made me think there should be kidnap missions in this game. Lol.

Because it does. The RSI website is the worst place for info on ships. I use Erkul.Games. The 315p has had 12 SCU since its rework about a year ago. RSI hasn't updated the website.

Just saw this and currently this ship is bugged. I love my 315p, but hate when I leave the hanger and look at it and it has damage (when it doesn't). The ship has a bug that makes it appear damaged all the time, I can pull out of my hanger and land for a bunker mission and it has panels and paint missing. Then I get back to Port and the it says it needs no repair. Store, retrieve, and there it is fixed again. I can't even enjoy using it right now, frustrating to always see my baby damaged when it isn't. Great little ship though, just a bit fragile. I will try the 325p after the next wipe, until then I am keeping my 315p.

The website is trash sadly, use Hardpoint.io to see and compare stats including cargo.

Nikoli is right more than a year ago before they reworked it it did have 2 scu. And they refuse to update the website. Hardpoint is the best source for SCU and Crew Size. Erkul for everything else.

Just tried out the vice run, turned out its not that good unless you are lucky, you can only sell 600 unit at a time and it takes probably an hour to do another 600 and you need to compete with other people..

I was able to sell more than 600 maybe 1000 and had a 10min cool-down. There were no other people. There are a total of 5 locations I think.

SubliminaL seems like trading is bugged now in live for lots of people since July 31st , I still have all the widow in my cargo unable to sell, can only do it ~11 unit every minutes. I heard that this apply to things like laranite very limit sell even limited supply

The 315p is a pathfinder, not a combat ship. I think in this case you put far too much emphasis on its lack of combat ability, when that's clearly not its function. I did enjoy your ideas about the 315p as a potential smuggler's ship. With its speed and the proper stealth components it could really excel at transporting expensive, illicit goods.

I wouldn't call this my baby but it surprised me. It is probably the most useful 300 series ship. Because I'm not sure if there are any other ships taht are perfect for this style of game-play. The 300 is a good "Intermediate Starter" But one could argue the titan is better. There are better dog-fighting ships than the 325a and there are other racing ships other than the 350r. Unless they come out with an official stealth courier this ship is cool.
