0:55 the 315p has a tractor beam in the nose instead of the size 4 gun I have a serious soft spot for my 325a. I call it the Tony stark special. The only fighter with a wet bar. I have more ships than I can use and I keep going back to this one.

I have no clue how you do not have more subs. I am looking to buy the gladius but this was a big help with reviewing other options aswell!

325a is my only ship, and this review is fairly accurate. It is definitely a "jack of all trades" starter ship, but will be outmatched against other more specialized ships like the Arrow or Gladius in PvP; though the same would be said about the Titan and other similar jack-of-all-trades ships. The bed and toilet will be handy when those are more required, compared to dedicated light-fighters like Gladius and Arrow who may find survival in Pyro to be difficult without help (we'll see when Pyro is out). Also the function of allowing missile lock on multiple targets at once could be handy when it comes out. Focusing down a target may be more preferable, but getting multiple targets to engage evasive maneuvers will surely be something. For getting around the verse for flying to missions or doing deliveries or PvE stuff, it's a fantastic daily. I wouldn't trade it for a Titan, but if I were just getting into the game I would probably get the Titan over it, bother for price (in-game and IRL) and the fact that you can only pledge the ship as standalone currently; I got mine during Origin Celebration in '19. The 300 series DOES have a lot of customization available to them though, really helps make a ship feel "your own." Something about the sage green paintjob and the wood-trim on the inside just makes me smile everytime; can't get that in a Titan. Regarding the missile hardpoints; it has 2 Size2 hardpoints on the wings and a bespoke (ie cannot be changed) 4-missile Size3 hardpoint under the belly. I downgraded the Size2 missiles to Size1 to double the missile capacity, since the damage difference isn't really a lot. Fingers crossed the Master Modes expected for 4.20 can put the "Interceptor" part of the 325a's description into use.

Thanks for the review! You hit on the main thing I wanted to hear...how good its flight in atmo. The Titan has the same issue. I guess that is what CIG has done to get people to buy other ships. 🙂

Really happy it helped! CIG have done a good job with the flight physics. If you want a good atmospheric ship you need wings, just like in real life!

@@CitizenFrost And then there is the Defender that has no aerodynamics, that does really well. Even the Terrapin does not jerk around and get 'sticky' when trying to turn. They have a ways to go for sure. 🙂

This has been my only pledge ship since '15 or '16. Agility nerf was a bummer, and currently through a few patches still has a missing missile operator. (So much for the wilsop system... lol)

If you know how to fly well should not have problem, if your using corkscrew, flying out to recharge shields etc you should be fine. Also target priority matters as well.

Anyone know how to fix the thruster bug? My 325a turned into a back-engine-only ship that has NO ability to float steady, brake, or anything that requires any thrust other than the back engines. Shame, really. :(

@CitizenFrost Yeah it was so weird. It was a persistent issue even after blowing up and claiming. I ended up just melting it and getting different 300 series ships. I'm sure I'll try it again sometime. :)

This was the ship I wanted the most after I got my AURORA Starter Pack. My kids bought me one for my Birthday. I loved the ship but found it useless in PvP against the GLADIUS, ARROWS, BUCCANEERS, HAWKS, and CUTLASS BLACKS that made up the majority of player ships that attacked me. I eventually spent the $5 to upgrade to a RELIANT TANA and found it to be a much better ship. With the 2 Toshima Turret installed giving you four size 2 guns plus two fixed size 2's on the hull and 24 Rattler Missile ( first 4 missile salvos @ 4 missile per salvo) it has way better firepower. Maybe when the special carbon composite armour and custom battle computer make it into the game, it will come into it's own. Right now, I don't see any wealthy millionaires feeling safe in this ship, let alone taking it into a fight.

Thanks for the comment. Yes there is something not quite right with the 325a, it needs a little more agility or firepower, as you say hopefully it will be buffed in the future when new gameplay mechanics come online. I've not tried any of the reliant series but have some spare credits to use before the upcoming wipe so may give it a go!

It really is a better ship as an overall compared to the titan especially in terms of flight control

Absolutely, it's good ship and can do alot. It's just not a top tier fighter like the Gladius or Arrow...but you must expect that since its got a bed and a wine rack 😅

I agree with the video. I had the titan, and "upgraded" to a 325a. I gave up a tougher (felt like), better handling (imo) ship, with a ramp, bigger storage, for a prettier ship with a moon roof and a toilet. I upgraded again because I didn't like it, but want to keep my LTI. If I had to do it again, I'd say It doesn't matter. Start with anything, getting the best all-rounders in-game will only take a few bounties/missions.

In short, no and no. Vehicles only get physicalised components when they have gone through thier gold standard pass. At moment only a hand few of vehicles have and the 300 series is not one of them. No information on the road map so I'm afraid I have no idea when it's coming.

FreeFly event is ending soon, I want to keep exploring the game but with tight budget, the more basic packages looks kind of limited, with the FreeFly I have used the Mustang, Nomad and i100. I liked the cargo space in the Nomad ($71 with discount), Mustang cannot store enough for delivery missions and my fighting skill cannot even test if it is good. Do you have a recommendation for beginners that don't want to spend much in the beginning? let´s say I will think a lot if spending $60 or $70 would let me enjoy the game

Thats a good question and there is not a right or wrong way to do it. My advice would be don't spend more real money on a ship package than you have to. Currently it's fairly easy to grind credits and buy the ship you want with in game currency. You can even rent ships to help you save. Find a gameplay loop you like, buy a cheap starter or rent a ship and grind towards the ship you really want. I myself have the mustang, I'll run service beacons where I can make millions in a few hours, then I'll get something I really want. You can't go wrong with the Mustang, Aurora or the Avenger Titan. Avenger titan is actually really good as it has cargo space and it can fight reasonably well.

I've been trying to get a better feeling of the game with deliveries or maintenance missions but I have gotten attack and each time resurrecting is spending money on Novosik suit. If the freefly lasted a few more days I could find the loop, I think
