I think it’s more of a plan on the Walking in someone else’s shoes. As we know the fruit works is that 1 the person has to consent to it and 2 the user gains the strength of the other. It is possible then that someone wished to be able to literally want to walk in the shoes of another and see things from their perspective of life.

Desire and Imagination are still clearly a key ingredient to their function though and likely why Ceaser Clown's SMILEs are overall failures at being artifical Devil Fruits unlike Vegapunk's successful recreations. I think what he is saying is that because the Devil Fruit is not natural it means they come from a different reality from the normal reality. Because of this those who eat the fruit are no longer part of are world like a fish that evolved to walk on land. If what he is saying is true then these character will at some point start a new civilization in the next step in human evolution. But what I think this means for the franchise is that so many characters will at one point eat the Devil Fruit that there will be no more humans.

Okay so the devil fruits warp individual realities converging parallels into one unified reality, if that is true wouldn't the very nature of Devil Fruits be a danger to the unified reality they all live in? The eaters shift realities to the designated parallels of which that devil fruit dream came to reality but they do not belong there hence why they cannot survive in the sea because the sea itself is mother nature according to them and as he said she rejects. But it also shows that you cannot eat more than one because you do not simply explode from the devils fighting but that you literally are either torn asunder by reality grasping where you are, or that you don't actually die but just are split into the dividing realities. But if there are devil fruits born of dreams, then wouldn't there logically be Devil fruits born of Nightmares? What if Imu was born of such? Or Imu's power was? Because it's only logical for one to exist the other must exist right?

Only issue isn't so much the question of whether or not a German accent was necessary, it's more that we didn't get to see Jimbei and Chopper's reaction to this. I want to know if Jimbei has untying to say about the sun god - we know how important the idea of the sun is to the people of Fishman island, maybe if he heard about Nika he could give some insight into why he's so important to them.
