TY WOLF Yes you are exactly right, Spider-Man is BY NO MEANS an R-rated character, but Spider-Man Noir is an entirely different story, and as I said earlier, since Noir is an “else world” story, which means it doesn’t take place in the main Marvel universe, and is like a “What if” story, it could work as an R-rated film, because the actual Noir comic(s) are pretty dark and R-rated. But if they did make a Noir film, and then wanted to do a film like Spider-Verse, the character could easily fit in a PG-13 rating. So basically, a standalone Noir film rated-R, but a Spider-Verse film that includes Noir, PG-13.

One of my favourite incarnations of Spidey, for this quote alone: 'All couple years back, Uncle Ben sneaked me in to see the Frankenstein movie. It gave me nightmares, I woke up and Uncle Ben was holding me in his arms. I expected him to tell me "there's no such thing as monsters." But I guess he figured I was old enough to know better. So he did the next best thing; he promised to keep me safe from monsters. I wish I could've done the same for him.' And way darker than Batman, Uncle Ben was cannibalized by Vulture, and Aunt May attempted suicide after seeing Spidey shoot Vulture, because she was depressed with the endless cycle of people killing each other and acting like animals. And that's when Spidey starts to adopt a no kill rule, in the very last comic. Even my favourite Norman Osborne, he's not just a greedy arsehole who f--cked himself up with Goblin serum, he's just been through hell growing up in a Freak Show, getting pelted with rocks from as early as he could remember, he just wanted the name Norman Osborne to be respected, and he didn't want to go to court or prison because it'd be the same as the freak show, having audience scrutiny and a cage, so he wanted to die before actually letting the law deal with him their way.

The noir Spider-Man is such a unique take on character based on 1933 when the Great Depression was prevalent. Also the villains story are so different and creepy they were all part of circus act where people would prod and poke them then Osborn got out and hired people like hammerhead, and vulture, there are others like octavious and kingpin. What I love most is the creepy environment and how it has a much darker story to the character Peter and Spider-Man. Even the way uncle ben dies is so gruesome. Norman Osborn literally hires vulture to kill ben and when he did vulture eats him, just like vulture in real life would to a prey which dead and rotting. Overall the noir universe is reall underrated and needs a lot more recognition.
