I believe Rik is gonna be the second brawler of the next update with Mico. I wouldnt be surprise if brawl talk started with the conclusion of this mystery as the brawler presentation of him getting out of the camera room equiped to brawl.

i think that the purple crystals are what is providing the brawlers with their hyper charges which grants them huge amounts of power, however the crystals also corrupt the brawlers causing them to fight and unalive one another.
