A painting by Brandy Saturley of the Union Jack and Canadian flags at half mast for the mourning period of the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. Within the painting you will discover the red arrows flying in formation, only one in white flying towards the sun. You will see both flags flying together and in opposite directions. You will notice the outline of roses with one painted in gold, next to this you will see a maple leaf painted in gold. At closer look you will also notice many crowns etched into the ultramarine blue background, you will also see one crown highlighted with gold. Around the edges of the painting a white frame is painted, yet the flags reach beyond this frame and around the edges of the painting. This piece is the celebration of a life, the end of an era, and a sendoff to our Queen. We know not where we go from here, onward!
