My guess is: You used to be affected by peoples words and you became isolated but when you started to get older you realised that what you like doing makes you stronger, art, music, family etc... you started to be more opened and people started to accept the real you, and you became a bit more confident of yourself and your proud to say to your old you "I am not scared or you...." Oh man the way you drew what I will assume will be the depression, anxiety, and other bad feelings facing you (Well your OC) is a good way to face those problems. Those fears, those worries, those bad things people have done to hurt you took a form. And you were finally able to stand up to that form and show it that you aren't scared.
