I think greedy Shibumi company took them to court and won so beach shade had no choice but to go out of business. You can make your own for about $70. Greedy Shibumi company also went after the people that explained how to make a Shibumi.

Yeah I love it and thinking the same thing. I plan on getting the Shibumi Shade to test out on the next trip. I'll use these to mount each side down eliminating the need for the string and sandbag amzn.to/3RWDZms
