In case you didn't, make sure you added a rubber grommet where the new brake lines come into the car so they dont rub on the chassis and eventually cut the new lines.

22:02 Please put a grommet on the flex lines if you haven't already, so it is held in place where it goes through the frame. That lines are going to be rattling around with the forces it'll be under doing Gymkhana, and can get damaged by the holes they pass through, with no easy way to inspect them. It would thoroughly suck if you suddenly find yourself without brakes, heading for a hairpin with K-rail barriers. Or a cliff.

I dig the double barrel shotgun look of the wastegate pipes, but I think I would cut them off a little bit closer to the hood and maybe add something subtle like an "aiming point" in the center to make it look even more like a sawed off double barrel shotgun.

Will the slightly different length in the brake lines result in the brakes actuating at slightly different times? The configuration of the T bracket made it seem like it was intended for a different application. Just curious!
@HooniganProjectGarage Жыл бұрын
It ends up staying the same, the only proportioning right now happens at the master cylinder to send a bit less pressure to the rear wheels vs the fronts. As long as the diameter stays the same, the length doesn't matter as much.

Very cool video. Does anybody know what kind of wheels are those on the evo?

Love the build so far. May I suggest a Valve Cover and Cam Sensor Heat Shield from either RK titanium or JDC. I've used that gold tape and the still was too much for my paint on the valve cover. That hand brake system scares me a bit I a leak does occur because potentially you may have 3 brake lines without pressure. Maybe I'm not grasping the concept correctly but please be safe!!!
