Todoroki had recognised these feelings inside him but... for a young man of such bravery, a hero in the making who had survived death defying battles with villians... he didn't know how he could express his feelings to the one who had turned his perception around, changed it so entirely that he became a new person. The one who he admired. He knew that saying it outright would cause the one he loved so much embarrassment, leaving the green-haired student stuttering and so red in the face, maybe even fainting. It wasn't unlike him to react like that. He'd ended up telling a few words and questions to Jirou- not exactly telling her who he loved, but rather that he loved someone. To make it short, the music-loving girl had suggested expressing his feelings through something like art. It ended up being a message through music (as unfortunately, the aloof student's art skills weren't very adept) and he'd come after school to learn from her how to express the chords and rhythm of the guitar correctly. Now, he'd started off by heistantly inviting his admired to listen to the fruits of his musical labour. The freckled boy had sat with interest aroused, clapping with joy clearly expressed at the music produced. Then came the song he'd been practicing night after night to play. First, it came off as stiff, quiet and shy. But the more he played, the more he lost his heart and mind in the melody. He played. He played for the one he loved so much, pouring his entire love and feelings for him out in the loud melody. He didn't see much of the greenette's reaction throughout the song, though as he finished and let the final notes die down... the aloof student looked up with hope for the one he loved. "Midoriya..?" He asked, voice vunerable. Not exactly fragile, but something close to it. "Todoroki..." Izuku breathed- voice small and eyes wide as ever. (Gonna cut it off cause I can't think of how to end it without it being too sappy and I'm tired and will probably regret this then wake up to all these people saying it's some shit fanfiction ;''''')) ((I mean it starts to go downhill and feels plain when dialogue was added.)) (((I love this song too much)))

Your vocals are always amazing but for some reason they were even better on this video? I legit cried the first time I listened to this dldbkd And I don't even know what to say about the lyrics, they're just sO GOOD!!! Every line was just so freaking beautiful!!! I just listen that song and here is my honest opinion: This is very beautiful, heartwarming and wonderful song I ever heard. I can tell how Todoroki telling Midoriya what he truly feels: his past is torturing him, he shut the world out and when Midoriya appears in his life, Todoroki for the first time felt happiness, because he's the first person who helped him realize about his quirk, who he truly is, and wants him to be happy. It's true that they are both broken: Midoriya was quirkless and bullied by Backugo and Todoroki was abused by Endeavor and because of him, he lost the trust. And for the first time, they found in each other happiness, love, understanding and trust. They belong together, I really love this pairing.

Alright, may I just say, I listened to this on loop for an entire day and never got sick of it. The lyrics show how close they've gotten, especially after the Sports Festival story ark. the song is talking about the todoroki vs deku fight. the fight left deku with a scar on his arm for using his quirk in a short time frame. if you watch season 2 ep 11 recovery girl gives you more detail. izuku smiled when fighting shoto, like all might. shoto smiles afterwards too. hope this helps!
