My dad (Bobby) was so glad to do this tour. He wasn’t well when he got that call and when he flew out there from Arizona. But he came back feeling good, which was great to see as we were all worried about his physical state while he was there. It’s a testament to the kind of guy he was. He loved the music and performing with the guys that much.

@@greypilgrim6157I was gravely sick at 22 when this came out. I had tickets to be here instead I had sepsis of the liver and was living day by day. When I saw this video I went from crying to listening to it non stop. My dad brought me up on this music and it’s all I know. Seeing your dad back with this line up still makes me very happy that it even happened in the first place. Ignore the bullshit plenty of real fans are still amazed they everyone was able to get Bobby out. I’m 28 now very healthy thank god and still watching this video because it’s that good!! Thank you so much for helping your father pull this off. Sincerely a huge fan

@@benedettogee wow thank you for that. I knew they had a hard-core following out there but still it’s not necessarily surprising but just feels good to hear. You know they’re actually people out there that were like hey they’re bringing Bobby out! I know it’s like when you go to a concert and they bring out somebody on stage that was it a part of the original band. Many groups, achieve, varying levels of success throughout their career, but there’s always something about the original band that is special in a way no other iteration could be. So yes thank you for that. It’s made me focus on my dad here today a bit. And thank you for sharing that bitch about your personal struggle. I’m so glad you pulled through and if in anyway, you associate even a small part of that recovery with my father and the mystics, then that’s just the highest form of compliment I guess you could give. my father would be all modest and embarrassed with such talk, probably but that’s just the kind of guy he was. But those of us know him also know how proud he was to be a mystic, and he would’ve loved to hear your story.
