This "petai parota" is very delicious. But the condition is not every seller can prepare this paratha well. At my area there are more than 5 shops of "petai parota" and I used to eat more than 7 years ago from only one shop and I recommended others only that shop. Other people also appreciated me after eating that the paratha was really delicious. I also "tasted" this paratha from other shops and so I can say that every seller cannot prepare this paratha as it should be prepared from kneading to shallow frying.

In kolkata petai parata is famous.. it available in morning time only.. we used to eat "petai porota" as breakfast. It cost 12 rupees for 100gram. & it served only with "ghugni"(chana)... but d aloo dam u get in this price is an extra bonus😄.. bcz petai parata doesn't served with aloo dam, anywhere in kolkata(bst of my knowledge)
