I like survivor cars. The vinyl roofs on these older cars are kinda cool also. The trim around the vinyl roofs sometimes provide almost a new body line. I also LOVE 💘 how the back windows roll down on almost all these older 2 door cars

Beep-Beep Roar-Roar! Road Runner! Floor it some more! There's a lot I could say about this car, but I fear I would sound repetitive of all the other cars I've loved before. But again - I'm faithful to each one of those cars! This one especially makes me miss driving Stick. Stupid bum leg of mine shoulda happened to a Trumpet Player who doesn't drive, instead of meeeee! Nah - I wouldn't really wish that on anyone at all. So I'll just grin and beast about it. lol. Beautiful piece of machinery here, Lou! Mike's survivor Road Runner is awesome without a doubt. My first car ever was a '72 Dodge dart swinger 340 engine from the early 80s. The car was powerful and stunning. If I only knew it would worth that much today, i;ll keep that car today. It was a yellow with a black hard top, typical early 70s feature, only a single carb and the rests are stock.Anyway, I enjoyed it and sold it afterwards for a cheaper price. :((

Beautiful survivor in the right color combo. In my experience as a kid in the 1970's, I didn't see a whole lot of Mopar muscle cars. The most popular by far on Long Island was the Camaro, Chevelle, and Nova. Next would be Mustangs, and I would put Cuda's, Challengers, and Road-Runners last.

Paid $800.00 for my green 70, 383 4 speed and grabber hood late 1972. Drove it around the block and gave him cash. Straight to the tag office, that's when I noticed the odometer @ 75,000 + miles. Drove it for 2 years, heard a small tick in the bottom end. Dropped the pan and found a loose rod on the main. The car was still in pretty good shape. $200.00 shoe polish on the windshield, and sold the next day. The guy came back the next day re: the trunk which I'd never opened. original rubber over galv. sheet metal screwed in. Found out a year later it was a moonshine car. South Fl. to Kentucky and back every weekend for 2 years explained the high miles when I got it. Moonshine eats steel darn fast. I miss that car!!
