Thanks for the long term review - now I have serious cab envy!

Thanks man, they really are great.. I plowed with my tractor for 2-3 years before finally getting this cab and it was one of the best things I ever did.. just makes the whole plowing process that much more enjoyable and instead of trying to rush you actually take your time out there. Keep an eye out for a sale or maybe put it on your Xmas list! Haha. Stay safe!

Another great video Mike. I am going to drop a note to Santa, as "SOMEBODY" needs a new pair of pants for Christmas. 😆🤣 Stay safe, keep the videos coming and have a Merry Christmas.

I’ve had the same cab on my BX2380 for 4 years as well. I only take the vinyl parts off in the summer and leave the roof and glass windshield on. The cab really is awesome when moving snow. For heat, I wired in a jack for my motorcycle heated jacket liner and heated glove liners. When moving snow I don’t get off the tractor enough for it to be annoying.

That’s a good idea! Funny cuz on really cold days I’ll wear my Milwaukee heated sweater under my carheart.. it works great! With the cab heater I use, I notice that as long as it’s 30 degrees and up outside I stay quite toasty in there.. only when it’s 20 degrees and under can it get a little cool, especially if there’s alot of wind that day.

What a difference that would make on a sub zero windy day ❤

I have one an its worth every penny. Mines on a bx23s without heat but being out of the wind/snow/rain is worth it.

I built mine own metal hard cab for my Power King tractor two years ago.

A reverse direction cooling fan would be interesting to try out instead of the added heater.

I'm not really in the market for a cab, but I think one thing you might have missed is it a lot of trouble to refuel the diesel with the cab on?
@randywilliamson5613Күн бұрын
I would love to have a😅 cab like that. I'm in South East Louisiana, we don't have snow, but it gets awful cold here in the winter.
@BiffsEquipment23 сағат бұрын
I'm sure you'd love a cab down there for the cold weather! It can really help make those long days bearable and keep you warmer. Keep an eye out for a sale this winter, I’m pretty sure they do at least one this time of year. Thanks for watching!

Curious if you have thought about adding another heater like the one you have so you have two heaters in the cab?
@BiffsEquipment23 сағат бұрын
You could prolly do this, but it would require quite a bit more hose and wiring to make it happen, and I’d be a little concerned if the water pump would have enough pressure/flow to be able to pump coolant through the tractor radiator and then through all that hose and two heater cores before coming back to the engine. I’m not sure if it would be able to handle it or not and you may loose flow on such a small little engine.. and if you lost flow then you wouldn’t get anymore heat really than just having one. I’d recommend just going with one larger one.. or the largest one you can fit inside the cab.. that’s what I plan to do next just so I can be super warm on those super cold/windy days. But honestly it’s really not that bad as it is right now.. I’m just being picky lol

Great video Biff! I'm seriously considering upgrading my golf cart cover cab and your videos on this cab make it worth considering. They should have you on commission 🤠👍 Question, can you trailer your tractor with that cab on?
@BiffsEquipment23 сағат бұрын
Haha, I’m glad to hear it’s worth considering! I hope my video helped with the decision making process. As for trailering they make a special transport cover that I forgot to show in this video that you slip over the cab for transport. But I’ve transported it many times before I had the cover and as long as you keep the speed under 40-45 you should be ok for shorter rides.. if you were going a super long distance tho I’d make sure to get the transport cover just to be safe as a strong wind gust at those speeds could blow a door open or a window loose

Question, have you ever hauled your kubota with the cab on?? Im just wondering how do you it when you move it from one site to another site job? Do you remove it or leave it on?
@BiffsEquipment23 сағат бұрын
I have hauled it before with the cab on, I think I only did it once on video though.. it was a video where a lady had a flood on her property by the shoreline that needed to be cleaned up so I took the job during late fall or early winter even tho I normally won’t take jobs that late in the year.. if you search “biffs equipment storm cleanup” you should be able to find that video. I forgot to mention at the end of the video that Originally Tractor Cab makes a transport cover for the cab, I have one but havnt used it yet.. it slips over the top of the cab and keeps the wind from blowing it apart or the doors open at high speeds.. I was gonna show it but forgot. If you don’t have a cover then just be sure to keep your transport speeds under about 40-45mph and you should be ok.. that’s what I always did when transporting tractors with these cabs and never had an issue

@@BiffsEquipment I"ll throw a couple of ratchet straps over mine and that helps give it some support from the wind.

Another reason the cab on the Bx does not stay warm is the radiator fan pulls air from the cab. 😮😮😮
@BiffsEquipment23 сағат бұрын
Yah you need to block the screen off with fabric on the inside which is what I do, or you can use some type of vinyl to cover the outside of the screen. If you don’t make any attempts to block it off then it will be much more difficult to keep the heat in the cab

Call me crazy, but I store mine on it's roof. (But I don't have a beacon light) but there is no weight on the mounts in the summer
