Hi dear kev jin, I didn't get to try this transceiver with the specific model you mentioned, I don't see any reason why it won't work, but try to pair it with different model to make sure it works. Maybe someone who own this headset can tell us if this transceiver works with this model. @@OriginalVideoReviews Haha. I'm glad you're open to suggestions for a new catchphrase. If I think of something I will let you know! For now, maybe just choose something less creepy. Anyway, back to the product. I doesn't work with the headset, I tried it with a JBL bluetooth speaker and it works fine with that. It just doesn't connect to Creative Soundblaster Jams (and I'm sure some other headsets will be the same) unfortunately. Good, cheap item, but limited to what it can connect to, it seems.

Hi dear friend, I googled the speakers and didn't find them, but from your comment I figured these are Bluetooth speakers that you want to connect somehow via Bluetooth to your non-Bluetooth receiver. In this case you should connect a Bluetooth Transmitter to these speakers. If you are using the one I reviewed - make sure it is set to Transmitter, and that you follow the instructions. Very nicely done.. I have a question.. I want to manage my ipod from a far. Like on a basketball court doing an activity. I want to know if I can connect via bluetooth to the receive and plug the RCA into a sound system.. if so.. do you think the max distance would be 10 mts ? like 35 ft ? or I may be able to get more. or is there any that you know that I can get more distance.. For each video I wrote additional information in the description about the device that can be very useful, including FAQ section and links to purchase the items online. I also advise you to read comments by other viewers if you have the time for that. 2. From what you describe you will only need a receiver that will connect to the audio system itself, but if you choose to purchase a transceiver it would be great also (they usually a bit more expensive). 3. I had very good experience with most of these devices, but keep in mind that the same device might be manufactured by different manufacturers, so maybe if you get it from a different seller you will receive a device from an inferior quality (i.e. the chipset / battery is not so good). 4. In your case, I advise you to go for a branded device from an official manufacturer's store, that probably will be a bit more expensive, but most chances will be from good quality. 5. My experience with these kinds of transceivers is that the connections are only solid if there is a direct line to the other device with no movement. Does this one broadcast MIDI? I use something called the PUC+ for midi broadcasting. It basically makes a MIDI controller wireless. You should do a video on the PUC+. It's amazing with no noticeable latency.

The specific transmitters / receivers I reviewed so far had only 3.5 mm input. So it's either using a different device - like you offered, or finding an adapter - which probably can be found somewhere (but adds another link to the process that can cause additional latency and lower audio quality). I will consider reviewing such a device in the future. Hi dear frieds, The problem with this device is that it isn't working flawlessly, and not with all devices as a transmitter. I guess it stems from many reasons, such as Bluetooth version, etc. Anyway, I explained about this specific device, but basically when you buy a product for a specific purpose then you expect it to do the job as easy as possible. bought exactly the same device as my TV couldn't pair headsets by default. But couldn't get it to work although I had bought this transmitter. The Bluetooth light kept flashing on the transmitter altho my headphones was juz right beside it. No problem receiving Bluetooth signals, it's the transmitting function that's giving me headaches. . I'm using Sony Android TV & Beats Solo2 Wireless. Any ideas? Anyone?

I guess you need to make sure: - Device is charged. - Device is defined as Receiver or Transmitter (depending what you want to do I understand you want it to operate as transmitter). - Device is connected to your TV's right audio output - This is where I would put my money regarding your problem, so make sure you did that well. - You manage to pair properly between the device and the headset (this is not supposed to be complicated though it might seem like it). Many people have noticed and mentionned that this unit does not transmit in Stereo! I tested with an oscilloscope and sure enough, the transmission is in mono. The transmitter input is such that the left and the right signal are added together - (if you disconnect one channel, you still hear it from both earphone but if you connect the other channel, the volume goes up but still in MONO not in STEREO. I bought mine from Banggood (actually bought two) but now I'm pretty disapointed...

Thank you for your input, I also received this feedback from many viewers so I guess it's either totally correct or it applies only to some devices that are sold in the market, as this is a generic device sold by different sellers. This wasn't the impression I had when reviewing this device, but today I'm more experienced and knowledgeable, so I will try to check it once again and if I have a decisive answer, I'll update this in the description to my video. I did not test that, but I believe this is possible, since I used the transmitter with BT headphones, and also I used a receiver in order to modify wired headphones into wireless headphones. But if you intent to use one device only as a receiver, I advise to get a cheaper device, since a transmitter/receiver will cost more. Hey dear YFNik! Yes, you should be able to connect it using the RCA to your TV (most models have this connection). You will be able to listen using headsets to the device while it is connected to the RCA connection. As for other connections - I don't see how they are relevant, assuming you plan to use an adapter from RCA to HDMI, and in this case - this is possible, but I didn't try that, so I can't confirm this issue. I bought one of these devices two months ago. I used it sparingly but for about a month it worked fine. For the past two weeks, my iphone 7 has been unable to connect. I get a msg about making sure the unit is on and that my phone is nearby. Too bad. Initially I was impressed. Emailed the company asking for advice... no response... no surprise. I wouldn't recommend it, though perhaps with this post I might get some much appreciated help.

I didn't encounter the problem you describe with this specific device, but it did happen to me in the past with other devices, so I'm familiar with this sort of issue. What I would do if I was in your shoes, assuming you didn't do that by now, is to try resetting the device, so it will forget the definitions/setup/connection/pairing with the current devices (and if possible do the same thing with the device it's connected to it). Hi dear jelly K! This is not a learning/cleaver device that suddenly stops connecting with other device, so I think either you should repeat the process or make sure the other devices have a BT version that supports this one. Before you start doing anything, turn off the device you already connected to it so far, or even make it to "forget" it, so it wont prevent from other devices to connect to it. If you play from a specific smartphone, try another smartphone. The same goes to TV, tablet, computer, etc. I think most BT devices sold in the past 3 years will support this transceiver, so if you still having problems I would suggest to contact the seller. Hi dear Anti Rincon! I will focus on the setup, because I am not sure what is the specific difficulty that you're coping with: 1. The Bose Bluetooth speaker should receive the signals, because it's a speaker. 2. The Bose speaker has Bluetooth, so I guess the TV is the one that you should connect the device. 3. You should set the device in "Transmitter" mode. 4. Then you should just make sure to pair between the two according to the instructions (remember to enable the pairing in both devices). Couldn't get the darn thing to work no matter what I tried. It simply would not pair with my iJoy bluetooth headphones (that works beautifully with my Apple TV 4K). It's no good to me if the very thing I needed it for (to transmit audio from my blu-ray player to my headphones) doesn't work. I couldn't pair it with my iPhone 7 running iOS 12 either. The iPhone did find it but then it just vanished from the list. Anyway, the company that I bought it from, Poweradd, was actually kind enough to refund my money and I didn't have to ship back the product. I thought that the $15 price tag was too good to be true, and it was. Disappointing. Perhaps a description of what devices and Bluetooth version (e.g. 4.1) that the transceiver actually does work with would be helpful. Thanks!

I didn't try it with the devices you mentioned, so it's hard for me to confirm what you said, and if there was a way to sort this issue - but I'll take your word for that. If it would happen to me, I would try it with 2-3 different devices, and see if the problem is with a specific device or with all of them, but I guess not everyone wants/can do that. Eventually, we are talking here about a generic device that is manufactured by different brands under different labels, so each of them might have different processors etc. inside (unlike a specific model that is sold all over the world such as Apple, Bose, etc., and even then there's a variance...). I tried to be informative as possible with this video review, and I constantly update the info that I can, but there's always something else that people come up with, so it's good you were detailed as possible. Hey dear Dionatha Alves! I believe you can keep it constantly connected to the electricity / USB port etc. but like everything in life - there's always a chance something might happen. Its always best to shut properly and disconnect this (and every other electric device) from time to time, and it also saves electricity if you'll think about it. What I usually do is this: When I don't use a specific electric device, for example a smartphone's charger - I disconnect it from the electricity. I'm sorry to hear about your not so positive experience with this device, Like I usually say - this might be because the specific manufacturer of the device you purchased is not the same as the one I reviewed, as this is a GENERIC device with many manufactures, thus causing variance in the overall product you purchase, though it might look the same from the outside. Hey got a question for you, I have a turn table with 3.5 headphone jack. Can I buy two of these and transmit the signal from my record player to the other one receiving on a set of non-bluetooth speakers in another room? The main part of my question is how would they recognize each others signals if there is no way to program them to each other. Is it possible?

Hey dear Kenneth Davidson! Let's see... you want to do the following: Broadcast using a transmitter from the turntable, to a non-Bluetooth speaker that is connected to a receiver. So far I was asked this question several time, but I wasn't able to check it so far, so if anyone did that - please let me know and I will update this information for future viewers. Each of these actions is supposed to work on it's own (transmitting from the turn table, receiving using the non-BT speaker), and now the question is if this connection between those two devices can be established on it's own... I believe this is possible but I wasnt able to confirm it so far - pairing the transmitter is very easy and I believe if you enable the pairing from the transmitter first, and then just press the button on the receiver to get it into pairing mode, then the connection is possible. This is what I think, I didn't try that, I hope I will get the chance to do that and if so I will update the description to this video. If you choose to do that then good luck, for the price I think it's worth the shot, and I hope you can let me know what was the result of that. Hey dear Mr Davis! You're transmitting sounds from a non-Bluetooth device (the TV) to a Bluetooth device, so You need to set the device on Transmitter mode. I don't recall the specific LEDs signals (the blue light blinking) but it sounds like a good sign that the device is searching to pair it with the Bluetooth device that will receive the signal. So make sure you set the device on "Transmitter mode", and follow the instructions - it shouldn't be too complicated. Just in case you're not sure if it works, I strongly suggest to try & pair it with another headset (or speaker) to see it does work properly. I always try to figure the specific setup that I am asked about but it should be the same logic that should guide me / you / everyone else during the process... let's see: You want to transmit audio from the AV receiver to the BT speaker - until here it seems possible, if you choose transmitter mode. As for the second part of the question... If you choose main speaker setup - well it depends how you choose to broadcast it from the receiver and if this is the default mode or you can play with it... Hey dear mohsin mahmood ! It's hard for me to realize exactly what is the problem you describe. Basically you should connect the transmitter to the TV (in your case it's a LED TV), Then make sure the transmitter is set to "Transmitter" mode (not "Receiver" mode). Then make sure the headphones are turned on and ready to pair. Then enable the pairing from the Transmitter itself. If everything is connected well and enabled at the same time - there's no reason why it wont work. If still not working - try a different pair of headphones. If still not working - contact the seller and ask for his/her guidance. Led me know if you managed to sort things out. From What I recall, in TRANSMITTER MODE (not RECEIVER MODE) this device allows up to 2 users connect to it at the same time, so I agree that there is a chance someone else can join you and listen to audio that you broadcast (assuming they try to do that) If for example you are listening to audio transmitted from TV - I dont see a big risk with it, but I guess people should be aware to the risk and use it appropriately (Keep in mind there is a risk regarding all sorts of devices you are using). Receiver - used when the receiving device doesnt have a Bluetooth connection. In computers you usually have Bluetooth connection, while I'm not sure what's the issue with the projector. Thanks for your prompt response. I want to receive the sound (in video file - a movie) from the computer (with Bluetooth) into the speakers (without Bluetooth, 2+1 system). I already have a small (and cheap) audio Bluetooth receiver (resembles USB stick) that performs this function, but it doesn't work good - there's a lot of noise and disruptions in the received sound. The reason I recommend a branded receiver is because with non-branded devices there is a big variance in their quality, as they are manufactured by different manufacturers, while branded receivers you can purchase from an official store and it will be probably the same as the device I did review. I do not agree when you refer to this unit as a "Transceiver" as it cannot transmit and receive at the same time - as you demonstrate the switched 3.5mm sockets switch the unit between transmit and receive (the same function that other units have using a slide switch). It is either a transmitter or receiver but not a transceiver. My use case is a Bluetooth headset (that is headphones with a microphone - i.e. Audio Tx and Rx) that I wish to have two-way audio to my phone/audio set-up/Ham radio. This unit is not suitable for that role. Even using two units will not work, as once paired with one device the headset will not pair with a second access point.

Plattans do work well with smartphones, and the transmitter also works with other devices (portable speaker etc), but they do not work together. I have reset the headphones, but IT did not help. Do you have any idea, why there is no sound?

I need to listen to my TV that does not have BT, but connect with the transmitter to Audio output; With another equal but as receiver connect to the audio input of the amplifier, which has no BT. With two of these 2 in 1, one as emitter and another as receiver, in theory should work. But can they match? I'll have to make sure before I buy them. Thanks for the answer.

Hi dear Odesterrado! You can use this device only as a receiver or as a transmitter at the same time. You'll need to purchase 2 units if you want to do that. You should be able to pair receiver and transmitter via Bluetooth connection. My advise: If you need a transmitter I advise to get this one. If you plan to use a receiver only - get a simple receiver. Hi dear friend, Usually Bluetooth devices of this type/BT version works properly up to 10-meter, depending on the barriers (walls, doors, etc.). I can confirm that I currently own very good pair of speakers that some way some how a neighbour of mine is able to connect to outside of my apartment, so the honest answer is - you need to try it in order to know the exact answer that applies to you. I bought one of these, and no matter how long I charged it (3 straight days) and it never worked. It didn't hold a charge and it wouldn't work even while "charging". It clearly can work, but it's iffy whether you get one that works or not.

So maybe there's a chance it looks identical to other products, like the one I reviewed, but whats inside is different - for example, there is/isn't a built-in battery. If the seller mentioned something about a built-in battery and it doesn't work properly - then you should contact the seller and ask for a solution. The same goes if there was supposed to be something with this device, but it doesn't work properly.
