I use the Origins battle cat as a Filmation Battle cat with my Filmation He-man, he has those cartoon colors, i just added some apoxie sculpt under his chin to give his light green beard, great review as always!

I wasn’t gona get battle cat till I saw how huge he was. It reminds me of world of Warcraft some players would ride on giant tigers like this . Ofcourse I never was high enough level to get a mount .

Too bad there is no articulation in the paws. That would really make Battle Cat more dynamic, but the rest of the articulation is great!

@@Emolga6274 Pixel Dan pointed that out to Mattel, but they didn't seem too concerned about it, as they backed it up with "well the original toy didn't have any articulation". So I assume Panthor, who will be released in Spring 2021, will be the same.

The lack of ankle articulations made origin battlecat pretty static. Vintage is static but at least it’s in dynamic pounce pose. That’s why i prefer vintage personally.

The legs of the new battle cat are really disappointing. They should've given him joints at the feet and placed the belly strap more backwards so that the front legs have more space for movement. The pose of this new battle cat just always looks off. Ok, I have to admit that I only see it from the collector's perspective. For kids which are playing with these toys it doesn't matter.

Sorry... BUUUT: the sculpture/drawing is nice, but honestly I think the painting of the eyes and mouth is very ugly (and poorly painted). And the clawless paws aren't impressive either... The Classics Battle Cat and also the new Masterverse one are much better than this Origins on my opinion...

Awesome review for him!!! It’s wild how big it is. Only thing making it perfect is that paw articulation. It’s strange the Mega Construx can get it but not a much bigger piece. One of the only pics I haven’t seen I’ve been looking for is He-Man coming out of Classics Grayskull’s mouth on the jawbridge. I remember the fiasco with the MOTUC version but hoping the scale works much better.

I saw this at my Walmart and was shocked just how huge battle cat is . Even the box is huge . I haven’t seen a battle cat figure in 30 years so it was shocking
