This is legendary stuff! Hope you get the printer stuff all sorted out and that your next one doesn't bust up.

I bet that little prototype would work with the Motu Minis or the lego figures!

It might.

Well this looks like a neat idea for a custom print. I’ve always found 3D printing unproduced toys fascinating. It’s like seeing what could have been in person. Have you tried printing the walls in four separate sections and then assembling them? I feel like that’s how Mattel would have done it. And maybe make the cage door swing open.

I've thought about is, but I really want it one piece. (I have other ideas for future playsets, this is a test bed for those)

You taxed your 3D printer. Why not make it One interlocking Wall at a time. That shouldn't put too much a strain on your computer. Do one test shot and see how the quality is before going Gung Ho!

Why not do it in 4 separate pieces that snap together?

@@HeBroTV i just figured it would make more sense for you because of the way you said if you had a problem with your printer half way through, it wouldn't be as big of a loss.

@@Bearded_Toy_Guy Good point. (But one piece will be soooooo much cooler.)

I wonder if printing it upside-down could save you some plastic from the suport of the skull
@HeBroTV3 жыл бұрын
Good idea, nope, the supports for the windowsill is greeter when upside down, but good thought.

I know they did this in the classics line but I would love to see a lot of the unproduced stuff being made for the origins line, it would fit right in with the original line too
@HeBroTV3 жыл бұрын
The classics one was stuck inside the castle and too small.

In all these years I've never noticed anybody acknowledge or mention the fact that Castle Grayskull is actually a green skull.
@gentrybridgeman58013 жыл бұрын
I’ve noticed that before, but I always thought that castle greenskull just doesn’t sound as cool, haha
@HeBroTV3 жыл бұрын
It turned green over the years of sitting.

If you look closely at the drawing you will notice that this set was intended to be foldable, and I'm sure the back would have been made of cardboard.
