I wanna make a comment about resetting for ice parts: I think the reason I put this in the route was due to my desire to use speedrun strategies as a base, and then optimize and simplify for casual play. You absolutely can continue the run and focus on other staffs in the meantime, and that should be accounted for in the video. My access to the fast-restart bind on PC makes resetting trivial for me, and not using gums also makes the cost of a reset zero. Going forward, I plan to recommend resetting absolutely NEVER in my guides, and design them with more outcomes in mind.

You can skip taking upgraded staffs from crazy place to bottom of excavation site by just swapping with staff at crazy place. They will respawn at excavation site

Yeah that's something I plan to avoid recommending in future guides. All strategies should be malleable, I think my ability to fast-restart on PC and my desire to optimize is what led to this.

Love the guide. It helped me finish the easter egg on my first attempt. My only criticism would be, not to advise people to restart their game if they don't get the ice staff parts from the snow round on round 3 or 4. I missed my chance and had to wait until round 11 for the next snow round but I still completed the EE on round 19 which is 3 rounds earlier than you showed. Instead they should just work on other staffs/steps. Other than that, great guide.

Tip for step 2 pick and place the fire staff 4 times instead of going to each robot, it should complete it.

Yes, this step is a speedrun killer when in solo. The middle robot is the only one in range to support performing both steps from a single player

You’ll get it. I’m 14 hours deep into BOTD, died on the last step in back-to-back runs. It just preps you that much better for the next ones.

i’ve been trying to beat this EE for a while and i keep getting stuck on the unleash the horde step. i throw the g strike on the concrete slab then i throw my maxis drone but it doesn’t go to the slab rather it just floats there me im not sure if im missing anything.

The drone should go to the *broken* slab. The G strike throw needs to be done in coordination with pressing the button in Odin for the rain fire step. From your wording I can’t tell if that’s being accidentally skipped or not.

Don't be greedy. You'll become powerful enough with the staffs and ICR that staying on pace should be super comfy, even if rounds start adding up.

If you're interested in using Megas, Near Death Experience will keep you alive during the soul collection. Other Megas that simplify farming (Instakill, Death Machine) would also help. Rolling the box for an LMG over one of the ARs may be worth it with how many points you'll have. And then just never run backwards, that's how I get myself caught in a lot of these runs.
