Wonder how it would've been different if they did max reps DLs at 225 or something a little less technique-dependent than hang power cleans? I used to workout at NorCal CrossFit. I have met Jason Khalipa numerous times. I cannot stress enough how blown away how incredibly nice and humble he is. When it’s time to work out, he is built different he is strong as an ox and VERY EXPLOSIVE. Glad to see him still getting it in

It was very interesting to see the differing approaches. I wonder if Tim's has more of a tactical approach to it, where as Maybe Jason's is more of a competition style. A lot of Tim's misses seemed an inch or two. I don't know, just interesting to wonder.

I love that a civilian won the shooting competition against a US Special Forces guy. To me, it's like when it was thought that no one could break a 4 minute mile, but as soon a one person proved that it could be done, more athletes started breaking through that barrier. @@Mike_Oxard Because I’m looking at it as an ex soldier. Running stopping and standing both legs wide whilst you aim. Is not in anyway how we would train for CQB, it’s all about speed and staying moving. Tim is probably so used to doing these things on the move it’s just how he does it. Yes the other guy was “faster” (by 1 second). But it also involves large periods of him stood completely still. By moving you are a much harder target it is also much harder to stay level and have a strong body position to fire from. Tim’s shooting was military standard, the other guy looked like a good civilians shooter. If the time it took is the only thing you are looking at you probably are a civilian yourself. No disrespect just explaining why the time wasn’t really all that was important there to some people.

Jason wasnt on my radar. He is now. Total stud. Tim is a real one as well obviously. Could and should have been UFC champ at least once. For Jason to win the shooting shows he's no average Joe. Great competition! - you guys should run it every year for a bit. Reckon TK will come back stronger!
