Orioles make too many bad moves. They dump Austin Hays then bring in Tyler O'Neil for three times the pay and Hays is a superb outfielder. Just move Mayo to the outfield like they did with Trey Mancini. I would sign Lance Lynn for the bullpen.

While other major league teams make deals to make their major league rosters stronger Elias is only interested in having a strong AAA roster.

I wouldn't have done that deal for Luzardo. I really like Bradfield and I think they are hoping he is the replacement for Mullins in 2026. I also like Arias a lot. I like Luzardo, but that package for him and his injury history is too much for me

The Orioles just have bad management. Don't sign O'Neil and let Santander walk. There's your 30 million for Burnes. Heston Kjerstad is going in right field.

Seeing Luzardo traded to the Phillies, Buehler signing a one year deal with the Red Sox, and Manaea signing with the Mets I am holding to Elias not making a move unless it is for a true number 1. I would prefer a trade for Cease or Valdez but I think the Astros may just hold onto Valdez since they have added a few pieces this offseason. Sasaki is still in play, maybe not for us but if he signs in San Diego then it might be easier for them to deal Cease or if Sasaki goes to Seattle that could lead to them trading Castillo. The last wild card is Burnes. He is a true #1 with all the accolades but I just don't see the O's making such a large signing with a free agent pitcher. Wait and see.

Michael Lorenzen is still available and the O's could get him cheap. Lance Lynn is still out there too.

I don't know how true this is. But apparently, Elias was given the green light to spend money and he isn't. If this is true, then in my opinion he needs to go. Especially if we miss out on a guy like Corbin Burnes.
