The umpires in this series were atrocious. They missed a third strike right over the plate and Siani hit a three run homer two pitches later. Nootbaar had three called strikes and none of them were within the width of the ball of the plate. There was a play where one umpire called an out and the ruling on the field was changed to safe. Tons of horrible calls. Players and managers ejected. I have no idea why baseball doesn't have an automated strike zone. What would it be like if they went back to the inaccurate safe and out calls on the bases. Everyone would throw a fit. The technology is there. DO IT..............................

This series' umpiring will drive the appealable/automated strike zone rule. The missed 2 out, third strike call in game 1, to Siani, was at least 2 to 3 balls inside the strike zone and cost the orioles the game. Absolutely some of the worst umpiring over an entire series I have seen in 50 years of watching baseball.
