It's a Mozart influence if you ask me! Then the booming cut=in pieces and those great arpeggiations is very very Beethoven if Beethoven wasn't miserable but instead joyful about his life. The more I listen the more I feel this stuff. Great music.

I can very very very faint Beethoven influences, like you've taken his grumpy raging blue sounding stuff and given it a major tink feel to it with the faster tempo and arpeggio stuff. Am I correct to say you've actually put a fair amount of time in listening to classical or dare I say it Jazz?? Lol I know right, we have to stay quiet us Classic music and Jazz music people :) But there is no mistaking it! Salutes for that, I love a bit of the madman Beethoven or his opposite number the joy-fish Mozart !
@AndersEngerJensen Жыл бұрын
Haha, thanks! That’s a first and very nice compliment. But nah, not so much classical inspiration, other than the most famous stuff everyone have been subject to for these past decades. I have played a few classical pieces in my youth, but if there’s anything, I have a lot of jazzrock, LA-Fusion and Westcoast influences as my baggage. The Rippingtons, Mezzoforte, Steps Ahead, Spyro Gyra, Al Jarreau and all that jazz. So combined with game music (MS-DOS era), synth and synthpop, rock, metal and some film score stuff, you have my stew of inspiration. 🤓😂 Basically, my music approach is that a song should take you on a little journey… have more to offer than just a repetitive beat and some flairs on top. There has to be some good grooves, harmonies, structure and melodies. I guess I’m kinda opposing most of what’s hip music today, keeping true to the best of the 80s and 90s. 😎

@AndersEngerJensen7 жыл бұрын
Thanks :) Are you playing it using the mobile SoundCloud app? I changed the name and re-uploaded the wavefile, but that was just right after I published it in January or something. It didn't play on my app on the phone for a month or something, it sometimes takes time before the servers at SoundCloud purges the old cache and renews. It plays fine here at my end, both desktop and mobile. Have you tried deleting the app and reinstalling it on the phone? I have to do that from time to time... it's one of the downsides about SoundCloud.. they could put more effort into the apps, like having all features in one app instead of two. ;)

Nour T. Naw, I never owned one. While my friends got Amigas and Macintoshes, my dad went for PC back in the day. But I dabbled a little with Tracker and FastTracker2 for a brief period. Only one of those songs were any good though: soundcloud.com/eox-studios/magnetic-robots Now I'm stuck in the sideways scroller of modern DAWs, trackers are too tedious for me with all the sampling to get your sounds into it. But I simply adore and respect those that still make music with it these days. :)
