I remember watching the skies for ufos 95/96 on clear nights and one night we saw about 12 in total,just like stars only moving,zig zagging,turning dark red and blue,turning and stopping dead and looking jist like another star then moving off again At one point we saw 4 or 5 go up close to each other and just stop and stay stationary

That big blinking light (2:06) is almost the same that what i saw last March 03, 2020 in the constellation of Orion while having a stargazing at around 7:30 pm here in the Philippines, at first i thought it was a visible planet along with the Venus in the night sky but in a few minutes it hovers and vanished slowly near the Orion's belt.

The geostationary and geosynchronous satellites do follow an arc near Orion’s Belt, so it’s a good place to see objects moving in that way.

Saw on the 19th of March 2020 at 8:30pm a series of 30 similar crafts coming from NW and heading SE spaced equally in 15min a bit higher than the Orion belt. To give you an idea raise your arms to the sky and mesure two feet between your index fingers. That’s the spacing between each crafts. My son and I where suprised to say the least.

it’s just a Canon 60D with a 18-55 mm lens. I think it’s more the NV eyepiece that makes a difference. The L4A1 has one as big as the camera lens itself, whereas with the wide angle NV unit, I had to experiment with many types of magnifying lenses and extension tubes to get similar results as the L4A1.

I just came home from my daily evening walk in Hessdalen. Im looking to the sky all the time. This evening, 2 hours ago I saw a very bright object moving in circles. Lasted about 10sec. The object came out of nowhere, and disappeared just as fast. Sorry bad english. I need a good camera with night vision. Oh my god this is exciting😀😀 very nice capture..whats that bright pulsating light from 2:08? I get chills watching. Subbed
3 жыл бұрын
Sounds like you witnessed something very unusual. That pulsating light is an effect called scintillation, its the light from the star being distorted by our atmosphere which allows us to see stars twinkle. The night vision camera produces an amplified effect.

Thank you for this video. I actually searched for this because I stargaze with my binoculars and almost every night I see what looks like a little star that just goes at a constant speed (the same as number 4, number 6 and others in your video) across the night sky and I am so curious as to what those are. I wonder if they're actually like satellite or space debris...or, as I'm hoping, extraterrestrial space craft (which I've seen once for sure and even though it couldn't be anything else it was so phenomenally mind-blowing that I feel like I need to have a second, for-sure, confirmation sighting to validate my 1st and only (thus far) experience). It's like I question myself on what it was I saw. It's silly because I know for sure exactly what it was that I witnessed. Still, my mind still seems to be struggling with regards of accepting it. I'm constantly asking myself if I hallucinated it or was dreaming or something. Idk for certain that if I have another encounter that is similar, where an actual craft was clearly witnessed, not a series of lights or a 'could that be something?...hmm, maybe' kind of sighting but a 'no doubt about it, that was definitely an otherworldly craft and my buddy is here to confirm I'm seeing what I'm seeing' (like the 1st time) kind of sighting. Yet, I feel like my mind will, without hesitation, readily accept what I saw and adopt the truth of reality as it really is (and has been - knowingly or unknowingly - all along) because I've known 'this' reality my whole life. I think that it would cement it as reality for me though. It, at the very least, would make me feel like I'm not crazy. No matter what, a confirmation sighting wouldn't hurt. Long story, not so short - I was hoping to find out on your video if what I'm seeing is easily explainable. At least I learned my eyes weren't playing tricks on me. Plus, seeing as your video is the 1st one I opened, I have a good number of videos left to try and find out. Hopefully I figure out something, sooner rather than later, on my quest to learn the truth. Sending blessings, peace and positivity. 💙✌🏽🌸👩🏽‍🚀🚀👽🛸🪐 #TruthSeeker

Thanks for sharing your story opcpixie. Like you I believe we are not alone and would love to see something with my own eyes to confirm this. I think pretty much everything I record is satellite, debris and meteors and there are plenty of apps out there to help identify the brighter ones. They tend not to bother with the dim stuff as they are not so easy to see without night vision gear. I have several friends who I’d trust fully their accounts of amazing sightings they have witnessed, which for me is the next best thing to seeing something for myself. Thanks for watching.

@JustinOhio 3 жыл бұрын
When you see what appears to be a "star" slowly moving at a constant speed across the sky without changing its trajectory you can be rest assured it's a satellite. There's hundreds of them up there and appear to be "falling stars" all the time. When you see something that moves, changes color, changes direction, or changes speed, then you have something else.
@opcpixie
@opcpixie 3 жыл бұрын
@@JustinOhio yeah that's what I thought. Plus I found out (watching a UFO documentary, haha) they have a program that's a satellite tracker specifically for people in the UFO field, although, I'm sure expert amateur sleuths like myself (and some of you I'm hoping) could also use and benefit from it. They referred to it as satellite tracker. I just haven't checked the play store so not sure if it's an app on android and/or Apple or if it is only available through a desktop/laptop program with PC/MAC . I'll probably check on that now though since, you just reminded me, I recently discovered that. Thx Jay!

@tarag5447 3 жыл бұрын
@@opcpixie I’ve seen some weird things too. Some just recently that I still ask myself hmmm could that have been a satellite? Possibly but there’s still doubt in my mind. When I was a kid I saw something that to this day I, like you, question whether I dreamt it or not. It was lights in a triangle shape right above us but they changed colors from green to orange to red. That was probably 30+/- years ago. I’ve been searching the sky since. But just last night my husband and I were off roading in the desert just because we like to hang out when there’s a full moon so I wasn’t really paying to the sky. But something told me stop what your doing and look at the sky. It was a thought that kept repeating until I had put my phone down and looked up. A second later I saw a bright red/orange light flashing. Which at first I thought was a helicopter (helicopters come through this particular area a lot, there’s a small town north of us so we see a lot of medivacs in the air) going in and out of the clouds but then quickly told myself these are super thin clouds, you can even see a few stars through them (you couldn’t see very many stars due to the full moon). This happened a few more times in a matter of seconds before I finally told my husband to look at the helicopter but stopped mid-word because all of a sudden in a line going up about 45 degrees, 3 lights lit up in succession. Same red/orange light. It stopped then a few lights flashed in couple different places. Then again the same line of 3 lights lighting up and going off in succession. Then another set of about 4 or 5. Lighting up in succession and then just as quickly turning off. It seemed highly unlikely to be flares, they didn’t linger very long, in fact it was almost instantaneous. Definitely not satellites. Too big and they appeared to be in our atmosphere. We are mind blown. Unfortunately by the time I got my phone out to record they stopped. We got back in the truck and a couple more started flashing again. It did this a couple more times. And each time I brought out my phone it stopped. This was all in the same area of the sky. So bummed I didn’t catch it on camera. Long story long…keep watching the sky!!!
@opcpixie
@opcpixie 3 жыл бұрын
@@tarag5447 Will do, thanks. That's awesome that you caught that. I was kickin' myself for not grabbing the camera either but I was in such utter disbelief that's the last thing that was on my mind. I live in the desert area as well, where Coachellafest is held, somewhere around there, and you'd think with all the clear nights we get, like 320 nights a year I'd have more stories, but I'm not giving up, lol. One night my 17 y/o, my ex and I were leaving the gym, it was pretty late, almost midnight, and we saw some lights that appeared to hover, fade in and out, move in every direction. We watched for a good 30-45 mins, he sat there recorded it, me to, can't lie. We're all shocked it's lasting as long as it is, just in aww. As we're getting ready to leave, my kid n myself in our car, him in his - we were headed to different places - I decided I'd drive closer to this light phenomenon since it was basically on our way home, just a bit out of the way, and my kid was wanting to see it better too. He was going the other way but I told him I'd let him know what I found out, if anything. I'm driving and we're getting really close to it. It's so dark with only those lights as illumination it was hard to grasp the distance on them. They looked really close though so I turned down the street to get a better view. As I did, it was clear as to what the lights were illuminating and what exactly they were....GIRL!!! They were the high beam lights on two guys headlamps as they were working on and fixing a radio stations satellite tower that stands about 25-30 feet in the air. HAHAHA. My daughter and I started busting out laughing. Haha, we just stood in the gyms parking lot, filming this 'phenomena'thinking we found something amazing, haha. The funniest part, I told my ex what it really was and he didn't believe me?! Like wtf, why would I lie and say it wasn't anything but some guys working. If I was trying to prank him, I'd confirm it was something from out of this world. Lol we're still friends and to this day he still shows that video clip he took with his phone and tells people he witnessed something unexplainable. It'd be funny if he honestly didn't really, truly believe what he was saying. That night still cracks me up inside. Still, I'm a believer. Hope you see more amazing things in these beautiful nighttime or, less frequently, daytime skies. Thanks again for sharing your experiences. 😊🪐🛸👽🛸🪐😊

As I was looking up two of them appeared and were heading from my left to right, I thought to myself why do they always go that way? Why don't they go the other way? And as I continue looking up one was head from my right to my left. Did they or it hear me? Or just Coincidence? Either way I was happy and off into the darkened woods I went.

They tend to orbit in a common direction for a number of reasons. Rather than me make a mess of explaining orbit, have a look at this page and its links which may help understand their orbits. www.quora.com/Can-a-satellite-orbit-in-any-direction-pole-to-pole-clockwise-counter-clockwise-etc

Orion, my favorite area to do night vision. I see lots of stuff around orion's belt. I see you caught that flashing light thing. I have recorded it also. Any theory on what it might be? Does not ever move and I have recorded it many times.
5 жыл бұрын
I'll have to pay more attention to that flash area and spend an hour or so filming that point. I think I got a few more flashes from it but it was right on the edge of the frame so it didn't make it into the video.I can only think its some object slowly rotating and reflecting sunlight.

yep, it repeats albeit very slowly. Also watch for the trio of flashing lights in that area. They do their flash randomly but I've seen it a few times near orions belt.

I'll look out for those.

The geostationary ring of satellites goes through Orion (in terms of perspective). As satellites out there rotate to continue facing earth, their solar panels or some other surface might briefly reflect sunlight at you before rotating more and “going dark”. It’s a pretty common and understood phenomenon.

Nice footage. I wonder how can you indentify those things out there, maybe some are listed somewhere, but there are military stuff that are "not there"... And how to indentify something that just flying straight line across the sky, that could be anything. BTW. Check my videos, ive got some of those same things on my video.

I use Orbitrack & Redshift for live viewing, they are spot on for timing and location, if they show a sat passing a particular star, you will see it exactly as predicted.

@ Oh, i dont have any of that stuff, sounds amazing that some app could be so precise. But does the app know them all... i doubt that. So you have to know the stars first to find where to look etc. that goes a bit too advanced for me. I just put the camera on stand, focus and rec on..

@@satellitestalker3230 The apps are limited to what they call the bright visual group, some show a lot more than others, I stick to the 2 I'm using presently otherwise you can spend so much time trying to identify the lot. Red shift is great for the stars, it helps me identify exactly what point to aim at to catch a particular sat passing over.
