I bought mine a couple of weeks ago and I am absolutely in love with it. The watch is an upgrade over its old 40mm variant in every way. It wears much better, isn't as bulky and the bracelet and bezel refinement give the watch a little more presence and luxury feeling while still being a proper tool watch. For me, this is the ultimate vintage inspired diver that you can actually take on an adventure and I much prefer it to my old BB58 for that reason. The only criticism I have is that the rubber strap the watch comes with is too large and untucks easily. But that is easily solved with an aftermarket option. Keep up the great work Oris and Teddy!

I got mine last week! Love it. I’ve come to realize that Oris makes watches that fit my lifestyle and I’m not afraid to daily wear. I got the blue version and I can already tell it’s going to be my most worn watch for the foreseeable future. I also agree with the rubber strap. The taper at the end is way too aggressive as well. Looks dainty and too long. I ordered a black rubber Delugs strap
@snowCat168Ай бұрын
I got mine last week too! Blue version also. Absolutely in love with the watch. Been wearing it ever since. Love the look, clean dial symmetry, slim profile, bracelet wears very comfortably, more than enough water resistant for me, great size. There is nothing I don't like about the watch. A perfect GADA watch which I can take with me anywhere. Feel the same as others with the rubber strap being dainty and too long, I am replacing the rubber strap with an aftermarket tropic.

As soon as this watch was announced i fell for it. I decided to order and I just received my Divers Date, black dial, 2 days ago. First off, the unboxing experience left a lot to be desired for the price. The box/packaging look and feels very cheap. I have to admit, I expected much more for a watch at this price point and for a company of this reputation as Oris. The watch is very well finished and very beautiful. The dial is awesome. The bezel is beautiful and wonderfully clicky. The cons though. The bracelet, though nicely finished tapers to a very thin 14mm. This along with the 38mm case (39mm bezel) make the watch feel and look even smaller than its specs would imply. The crystal and ceramic bezel are incredible smudge and fingerprint magnets. I don't have the same problem with my Tudor. But the real deal breaker and the reason I'm unfortunately going to have to return the watch is actually the crown. It is cut so sharply and straight that it scratches the wrist and the base of the back of the hand and becomes very uncomfortable very soon after wearing it. So al in all. A very beautiful watch but the crown in particular is a miss.

I’m waiting for the day they make a 38mm BICO. like u said, due to the dial to bezel ratio, their dials tend to look bigger (at least with their 65 line), so it would visually come off more like 39. To me, it should be their flagship as far as their vintage looking stuff goes because as far as i know, there’s nothing else out there QUITE like it. It’s just that its pie pan proportions don’t look its best at 40mm. Especially not on small to medium wrists. As much as I love it, for me it could be better size-wise. Maybe if they ever release a BICO like that, it’ll have the improved specs like this one does. I personally don’t mind an off the shelf movement as long as it performs well.
