@@brandoGTR48 A simple workaround is to wind it only until it starts ticking, and let your wrist movements do the rest. Yeah it's silly, but if you are enamoured by how this watch looks(many are, including me :D) you'll quickly learn to wind it this way, which guarantees minimal wear & tear.

I bought mine a couple of weeks ago and I am absolutely in love with it. The watch is an upgrade over its old 40mm variant in every way. It wears much better, isn't as bulky and the bracelet and bezel refinement give the watch a little more presence and luxury feeling while still being a proper tool watch. For me, this is the ultimate vintage inspired diver that you can actually take on an adventure and I much prefer it to my old BB58 for that reason. The only criticism I have is that the rubber strap the watch comes with is too large and untucks easily. But that is easily solved with an aftermarket option. Keep up the great work Oris and Teddy!

I got mine last week! Love it. I’ve come to realize that Oris makes watches that fit my lifestyle and I’m not afraid to daily wear. I got the blue version and I can already tell it’s going to be my most worn watch for the foreseeable future. I also agree with the rubber strap. The taper at the end is way too aggressive as well. Looks dainty and too long. I ordered a black rubber Delugs strap

Seriously, you can buy almost 3 Christopher Wards divers with same Selita SW200 for this price, or you can buy 1 Titanium Christopher Ward diver Lumiere with Selita SW-300 that's gonna be superior to the Oris watches with Selita SW-200 in any part of comparison. I think Oris need to calm down a litle bit with their prices increases, because they are going already in the Tudor,Breitling, price range category but their quality and features stay's in the Hamilton and Certina category.

I’m waiting for the day they make a 38mm BICO. like u said, due to the dial to bezel ratio, their dials tend to look bigger (at least with their 65 line), so it would visually come off more like 39. To me, it should be their flagship as far as their vintage looking stuff goes because as far as i know, there’s nothing else out there QUITE like it. It’s just that its pie pan proportions don’t look its best at 40mm. Especially not on small to medium wrists. As much as I love it, for me it could be better size-wise. Maybe if they ever release a BICO like that, it’ll have the improved specs like this one does. I personally don’t mind an off the shelf movement as long as it performs well.

So... I'm born n raised on Oahu, Hawaii. Grew up at the beach fishing, diving, surfing, everything you can do in the ocean and the ocean here in Hawaii is like no where else in the world. Fifty Fathoms? Oceanmaster? Marinemaster? Aquamaster? all these 'dive' watches no one would even wear those in the water. Here any item you take with you into the water has a chance of not coming back out of the water with you, a watch could get sucked off your wrist in a sec if you get caught in the surf. It happens to all of us. That entry gshock from a drug store for 40bucks *f91/xxx5600?* is most popular here if you need to keep time while in the water, just saying. Deskdivers is that a term for these watches?
