FAQ: Q: This isn't lore accurate; they would never (insert problem here). A: Yes, you are probably right. This game was never designed for Warhammer units, and the game offers little in mod tools to help us make it accurate. What it does allow us to do for the first time is to have a sense of the scale of Warhammer battles and just how big and chaotic the battlefields would be! Q: Why are there no lasers? Why can't we see the special attacks? A: The game only has a few ammunition types. As the game has nothing to do with Warhammer, none of the ammo types such as lasers are in the game, so you will have to just imagine they are there :) Q: Why do attacking armies never/rarely get ranged units? A: Because of how the game's AI works. The defenders will often shoot the closest units to them; often that will be a melee unit. This allows the attacking ranged units to fire upon the defenders without taking any fire in return. The result of this is that the defenders die extremely fast and any static defence is overrun almost instantly. Q: Why don't you put the defenders on Guard then? A: The AI in the game will make the defenders slowly run backwards if they are a ranged unit, trying to get away from the attacking army, resulting in the defenders abandoning their positions. The armies then split into mini armies as they try to chase each other all over the map. Q: Where can I get these mods? I don't see them anywhere!? A: I paid someone to make the mods for me and add them to the game. Unfortunately, they are not in a publishable format, and so I cannot upload them to the Steam Workshop. Therefore, it's unlikely, unless other modders make the units, that you will be able to have access to them.

Orks shootas countercharge is second best scene I've seen so far here. Eldars outflanking Tyranids still holds the first place. Waaagh!

Imagine being one of those madmen Guard who made it up the hill into the Ork line. You wouldn't be alive very long, of course, but the sheer level of grit and bloodlust pushing you forward, as well as the last sight you'd see. BRUTAL!

The Ork tanks are painted red. That means they're super fast. They should have taken advantage of that speed and used them as a maneuver element instead of keeping them on support by fire. I guess we'll never know what impact the purple Orks had on the battle..;

I paid a guy to make them and add them to the game for me, they are not in a sharable form so unless some one else out there makes a mod for them I dont think you can get them sorry :(

So..... What happened to the pre assault bombardment that the Guard would've dropped all over the ork lines be it from heavy arty or orbital.... You know there would've been!

There was. That's why there's only 300,000 orks up there.
