Orks vs Carnival of Chaos | C1R2 | riggedy Mordheim Battle Report

Trying out a new method of showing the profiles as they become more crowded with how much experience some characters amassed by now.
Mordheim campaign with Middenheim, Restless Dead, Orc Mob, Carnival of Chaos, Skaven and Ogre Maneaters.
Used House Rules:
1. You can climb during movement
• climbing a ladder doesn't need a Initiative-test
2. No free Dagger, only if it is you only melee weapon (like for archers)
3. Armor is at half price (aside from helmets and shields)
4. LEADERS start the campaign with one skill for free
5. WIZARDS can choose their spells at the beginning of the campaign or when hired
• this does not count for hired swords
6. When advancing: if you get WS/BS and you are already maxed in one, you can reroll again
7. During exploration you can visit multiple places
8. To hit on 7 you need a 6+ followed by a 4+ (for 8 it is 6 and 5+, etc.)

Great report, I really enjoy these battles. You seem to be using different rules for Lucky Charms than the rules in the rulebook.

in the german rulebook it just says "ignore the first hit" - no need to roll a 4+ here that's how I learned it - that's how I play it still today^^

@@RdbJ_TT Oh, I see. In the English rulebook it is one-use per battle and only on a 4+. A translation error then.

It's not an "Error", it's just different. There is even a passage where it is explained that the hit is beeing randomly defelctected or dismissed for some other lucky reason - which is missing in the english version completely. There are also some slight changes within the skill-section. Before the widespread digitalisation german versions were sometimes published later than the english version and had some sort of "rules-update" already within them, where somtimes there was an Errata and I looked it up and thought: "that's already rules as written".
