The other day someone told me to listen to this piece, apparently it's well known to diminue stress. I quickly said Oh no!!!....I'd heard it played so many times through the years by different people and in different ways, I'd really become allergic to it!! BUT since then this version found me, it's so pure, and well played it's as if I'd never heard or listened to it properly before! A most gorgeous version. Thankyou!

Not only the chosen tempo and "affect" (mood) are perfect (not so sluggish and sugary as it too often this piece is performed!), but also the transport one third higher is perfectly appropriate: in performing music on the treble (alto) recorder, back in those time that was a common practice, so we can say it's very akin to an "historically informed" performance. Best compliments 👍👍!

Brilliant! Like most Baroque music, this piece sounds so good on recorders. Have you ever thought to have a go at the arrival of the Queen of Sheba? I arranged it for a group of primary school recorder players once (transposed into C) and it sounded great!

Orlan, seria "A Chegada da Rainha de Sabá" do Händel. As flautas sopranos tocariam as mesmas partes dos dois oboés barrocos que fazem a maior parte dos solos.
