Me my missus and 14 year old son do this on Thursday,Irvine to Glasgow,Glasgow to Gatwick,Then same as you,On to Florida,Great channel by the way👍👍

We flew to hawaii via San Francisco from Heathrow Airport a few years ago, same sort of connection, landed in frisco and only had 90 minutes to clear customs and board for honolulu, really stressed but was fine really as it usual connection time, enjoy your trip...

We are doing the same route in April next year. Did you have to re-clear security in gatwick?

@coopapalooza Hey! Yeah, there wasn't a 'connections' path to follow after getting off the plane in Gatwick, so we headed for departures and had to go through security again so definitely give yourself enough time for that. 🙂

@@blueskies_and_butterbeer ok that’s good to know. I think it works out about 1h 20 from landing to departure. I have three young kids as well so will have to be sharp!

@@coopapalooza yeah, it was about an hour and 25 minutes we had too. A long walk along to the gate too! Definitely manageable but don’t stop for a look in duty free 😅
